RCA Audio Cable, Victeck Nylon Braided Stereo Jack 3.5mm to 2 RCA Phono Stereo Y Splitter Audio Aux Cable Male to Male Gold Plated (5M)

Used for a workaround for a new xbox which would not allow 4k to work with my current hdmi slots it would allow 1080p only. Had to put hdmi direct into my TV which then allowed true 4k which gave an outstanding picture. This is primarily a games setup so we tried optical out direct to the amp and we could only get stereo and the sub. Their is a headphone out socket on the xbox controller so plugged the lead into that and into the bluray RCA connection, full surround at last and an unbelievable picture, way better than I realised, 4k is the dogs bollocks! The surround sound is more than adequate at 1080p it's an older technics amp cost a grand 13 years ago and cranks out 100 WATTS RMS to all channels, I have just got 2 more side speakers by JBL and another rear centre speaker by Mission which matches the front centre speaker with a lively performance and very clear vocal performance, I also got another 120 watts RMS active Yamaha subwoofer to match the front guy so the system is churning out the full 7.2 SYSTEM along with 240 watts of yamaha high end active amplifiers inside the subwoofers. I tested the full system at 80% of max for an hour while my woman was at the shops 200 yards away. She says she could hear it in Morrisons but I think she is pulling my leg. My pal has a very good HarmonKardon amp and has blown the protective fuse in his REL growler twice, the factory replaced the fuse and holder with a 10amp slowblow which blew the woofer out of the chamber and fried the electrics not only in the superbarkers active amp but also set the HarmonKardon on fire my old Yamaha woofboxes sound amazing just pure luck that they work so well with my technics super amp and my JBL, MISSION, MONITOR AUDIO,KEF AND YAMAHA mix, every item was pre used and purchased for less than half of their normal price point, not the RRP which is a pile of shitty nonsensical trash but the actual cost new from a discount shop like Superfi or Richer Sounds my two subs cost me under £250 for both and they handle some heavy juice without distortion or damage, the amp was dear at just over £500 but it really rocks and the whole system makes a soundbar and passive subwooofer sound so very crapola, better than TV speakers for sure but nowhere compared to a well put together surround system, most people should probably stick to a one make system of the 5.1 variety it's cheaper and sounds great but the 7.2 and double sub with a decent speaker match (pure luck for me if I am really honest) if well put together is astoundingly good this £9.99 cable has saved the day you feel every movement behind you if playing a first person shooter and bullets and shrapnel flies around your head, the sound of a cannon or a rocket flying past is astonishing, bombs blowing up in no man's land is like hell in your bedroom, machine guns are like a rhythmic bark, tanks almost make you feel like you are in one and it is mainly down to a workaround with this great little cable which is allowing superb sound and 4k imaging which is so much better than normal HD I am amazed that these games could look so much better than I ever thought possible the standard has taken another huge step towards virtual reality I just hope that smellovision never takes off as I do not want to smell rotting corpses in a WW1 game or equivalent I reckon that if these games became too real a young lad or a curious pensioner could actually have a heart attack from the combination of fear, fright, suspense, terror, actual vomiting from the sheer nightmares that games designers are putting into their games for many it is becoming too realistic and I can see a point when 2 versions of some games will need to be made a soft one for the dads and a mentally violent one for the 8 year olds who can take it in their stride.
