A very good hover for the money works very well and a easy to use I would highly recommend this hoover and great delivery time.

Hurray, at last someone still knows how to make hoover properly and for a sensible price - of course it's Hoover! Powerful suction but light to manoever, handle the right height, tools on board, sensible hose system which allows you to easily swop over to using it.Suffered various dreadful upright designsover the past ten years: Dyson - too heavy;Shark - tools not on board, flimsy with bits breaking off and whole thing didn't last fiveminutes; Vax - worst of the lot: completepain in the rear regarding use of the hose and emptying the bin. Also a bit broke off the handle slot making it too difficult to push anymore.Have yet to see how long my Hoover lasts but wouldn't mind paying another £89 again just for the relief of having a no fuss machine that works and is easy to use. The media could not be loaded. Best vac I have ever bought, light as a feather, love the colour smart looking, really comfortable to use push button at your toe no bending really long hose for hard to reach areas and plenty of suction its brought my carpets up looking new Don't miss out this is a great buy !

The suction is REALLY good for a modern vacuum cleaner BUT the clip holding the dust canister on doesn't hold on strong enough to lift the cleaner which it is designed for (I have an older model which DOES click safely!) so be warned if you try to lift the cleaner with that handle it could just fall and hurt you. Also the cover for the filter is too tight so impossible to remove for cleaning whereas on the old model it just slipped off and could be run under the tap. Other than that -the machine cleans well with good suction and is lighter than older models and IS good value if you are prepared to put up with these two design faults.

For the price I think it's a good buy, I've used just to vacuum my front room so far, suction is good and. I've read other comments about it feeling cheap, the plastic feels like my old hoover, it may to be with the hose, which is as thick as my old one but being slightly transparent may be the reason why.I think the design is so you can see how stretched the hose is?The large 3 litre tank also means it's easy not to fill it up to the filters, which will aid in keeping suction levels up.Given 4/5 only because I obviously do not know about the longevity of the vacuum.

Eight years ago, when I moved into my current house, I bought a reconditioned one of these (older model) as I have two dogs and I had new carpets. Over the last eight years, after my late staffy/lurcher passed, I (foolishly!) got a lab cross who malts like a bear!! My Hoover battled valiantly over the last five years with twice a week work-outs on hair laden carpets, having been attacked and mauled by the new puppy and was held together by tape in the end where I trod on the power cable in a particularly over-enthusiastic bout of vacuuming which left it with a loose connection going into the machine. When it finally couldn't take anymore, it was because - once again - I stood on the power cable and broke the connection beyond repair. The machine itself was still going strong! I immediately hit Amazon hunting for the same model. I am delighted to say that it hasn't disappointed - it's extremely effective on pet hair, quieter than my late model and still light enough for me to be able to use it on the stairs as I did my old one. Throw in a very reasonable price, and you really cannot got wrong with this upright!
