Did exactly what I needed it for!
(Combo - Vertical)Was having trouble with the USB C cable on my 6400mAh KIWI design Comfort Battery Head Strap (B09XF69CR9) fitting loosely in the headset and falling out enough to stop charging. Thought it was just the plug being super loose and not being able to snap in but it was actually the opposite sort of problem. The male USB C plug on the strap was just a SUPER tight fit. Plugging it into the adapter required a lot of force but I'd much rather break a ~$5 adapter or $60 battery strap than the VR headset worth hundreds of dollars! The adapter plugs into the headset snugly and without spooky amounts of force being needed. Little bit of a pain to unplug as again, it is snug, but you can safely unplug it without breaking anything and it's going nowhere even during very active gameplay. It absolutely has sufficient power transfer to keep the VR set charged. Just got finished playing around 6-7 hours of H3VR and it performed flawlessly. The battery pack was able to fully drain before the headset started showing any drain in the UI. The smudges on the adapter in shown in my images are sweat btw, I played hard. They came looking clean and unblemished. Prior to my VR session I also made sure both adapters allowed the headset to charge. It held up be me squeezing it with the obscene amount of force the headset's cable needed to finally click into it just fine. Definitely seems to be a pretty solidly made product so far. Worst case the pack cost me just under $10 after tax and it comes with two different adapters that should both work fine for the task.If you're having trouble with your KIWI battery strap this is a very simple and affordable solution for the problem both in terms of time and money. I'd highly recommend trying this simple adapter before going the return and replace route. I strongly recommend plugging the battery pack cable into the adapter first THEN plugging the adapter into the headset. Don't risk the port on the headset by doing it the other way around.

Only using for charging my phone, but it works fantastic for that
Fit is nice and snug on both sides. No cable falling out. Was worried the one I use wouldn't fit with my phone case, but luckily the case is thin enough it works fine. I haven't noticed any temp issues, but again, I am simply using it on my phone, not anything like a laptop. I'm only running enough wattage to quick charge my phone, coming from a port on a USB hub meant for quick charging, and a cord that maxes at 15 watts. So make of that what you will.I got these cause I lost the last angle adapter I had, and due to pain, I often lay propped up in bed and dick around on my phone, and I will often rest my phone on my chest. When it's charging, I'm bending the cord.A concern I had was how I hold my phone when I'm not testing it on my chest, as I rest it on my pinkies. Luckily it hasn't interfered.Again, I am just using it for a phone, so I can't say anything about how it works with a laptop. I also am not connecting my phone to my PC, so I have no idea how it works with data transfer speeds. But as a simple device to change the angle of my phone cord, it works fantastic.

Handy for cell phones while in use.
Better USB cable angles when YouTubing and simultaneously charging.

Support usb-c video feed to external monitor
Great little usb-c adapters which support video feed for my portable external monitor. Solid feel and they fit perfectly.

Close to perfect for my purposes!
Cable Matters has never let me down. These are close to perfect for my needs. The only issue I have is that they don't sit flush with the port they're plugged into, so they rock slightly when pressed on. This is minor annoyance at best.

Great for weird use-cases or gaming
Great for weird use-cases like fitting a cable in a tight area, or gaming and getting the cable out of the way. I did not notice any issues with speed or charging while using these.

Compatible with Super Fast Charging 3.0 on S26 Ultra
Much higher quality build than the last brand I tried, I feel this one will last. Super snug fit as well. Can confirm that it supports Super Fast Charging 3.0 on Galaxy S26 Ultra (using a USB4 cable with proper volt/amp specs).I only use this for charging, so cannot speak to other uses.

Excellent
I had never heard of Cable Matters before, but the form/fit/function feel best-in-class so far.

Great Build Quality, but Not for Thunderbolt 4
The build quality is genuinely nice—clean, solid, and really well made. The right-angle design also makes everything feel more convenient and “tidy” in tight setups. One catch, though: it does not support Thunderbolt 4. In my testing, Thunderbolt 4 features just aren’t there, which is a bit disappointing. That said, for non–Thunderbolt 4 use (charging and normal USB-C/USB4-type connections), it works smoothly.

Works, but...
It takes a lot of force to push the cable until the female port and the male side is too short for a phone with a case, which is what I bought it for. I have to take the case off every time to charge the phone. I took it off too many times and the case broke. Now I have to buy a new case. Stupid me. I should have just returned it in the first place.
