I have not used yet, but upon inspection after receiving it, the Mat seems to be well made and durable, tried sliding my hand over it , seems to grip very well. I could not give any less of a rating as I have not properly used cleaning fish, So I can only say I am happy with my purchase so far.

This fish mat is made of thick rubber but it's flexible and is a decent size for processing fish. I like that the mat comes rolled up in a pouch, which will be convenient for taking to fishing sites. This mat helps to avoid your fish slipping around, as it might with a smoother surface mat or board. It is also forgiving to your knife if it happens to slip and hit the mat. Tested good in the kitchen and looking forward to using it the next time in the field.

Great size and durability for this fillet mat. Makes clean up easier and holds the fish in place pretty well. Rolls up and stores nicely in the bag provided. Cannot beat this for the price

I ordered two and one was heavy but the other one was much lighter. I was curious so I put them on my scale and one weighed more than a half pound less

I love to fish and one thing that I love even more than fishing is eating what I catch.This mat makes it incredibly easy to filet fish on the go.When I get back from fishing all afternoon all I have to do is find a flat surface roll out this mat and start to fillet. I know that I am filleting my fish on a clean surface. Also, it's textured so even Northern's don't slide around when filleting them.This mat rolls up neatly and has a fantastic carrying mesh bag. One thing that I absolutely love about it is that it also is super easy to clean. All you have to do is slap it in the water a couple of times rub some of the scales off with your hands, lay it out to dry and (poof) you're ready to go for the next time you catch some fish. If the mat gets especially grimy, it's very easy to wash with a brush in the sink.Overall, you can tell that quality was top of mind when they made this mat. It's going to stand the test of time. I'm very impressed and always look forward to filling the fish that I catch.
