14x 11.5x 6.5 Inch Hard Case

This is a very nice case. Quality seemed really good. I had to return it because I ordered the wrong size. It did look to be a good value for the money.

Needed a good, solid small case for a Ruger Super Wrangler and other items within same case. Found it with the 14" Jack Boss. All others were about 2" too small to be able to hold a western style revolver that is 12" long from muzzle to tail back-edge, without going diagonal, which would of taken up more of the case. With the plucking out the perforated foam, I was able to keep 1/2" on each side for weapon protection and that was perfect, to not rub against the interior plastic on each end of pistol. My gun is snuggled in nice and protected on all sides. One thing I didn't realize with this type of foam, is it will mostly go too deep when you pull what you need to form the outline of whatever item going into the case. So, get yourself an exacto knife or single edge razor blade and cut how deep you want to go. Just be careful, as this being a 6" deep piece of foam, you might want to also cutout for other items on the bottom side, so's to keep foam protection between the items.This is a great, small case. I weigh about 220#s and I stood on it to test the strength. No problem. For the price, this is a bargain. Yeah, it's made in China, but at least it's well made. It might even work if one transports pistols by ground in/within certain States that require your weapons locked up a certain way to be legal -- by their anti 2nd Amentment laws.Does this Jack Boss case compare to much higher priced, well known brand cases? Unknown, but by its features, it certainly has compatability to them, if you don't mind black, as a color.

Great product. Seals very tight.. can even lock it. I had my ChefsTemp BBQ equipment scattered everywhere.. now it is all safe and secure in one place!!!!The price point is very good as well.The foam is super simple to punch out.The design is just as it appears.

Case is incredibly solid-feeling, the color is great, the locks on the front to open/close are tight, there are two metal loops on the r/l sides of the front to put padlocks i assume. There is some kind of "name plate" piece behind the handle on the front that can slide out when the case is open (not sure what it's for or what you would wanna put in there instead?). The foam was fairly easy to separate with a sharp knife, but i highly recommend taking it out to make sure you're cutting VERTICAL, STRAIGHT lines and don't dig into the outer wall piece or into the separating walls inside. Padding feels great, fits plenty of gear (2 Aston Spirits, 1 Rode NT1A, 1 Zoom H5 (with lav mic atop), 2 Rode NT5's inside a padded bag (for glass pipes, great for pencil mics though!), and four 6ft XLR cables with my ground mic tripods (teensy tiny ones that literally just sit the aston spirits straight up on the ground). 10/10! Way more affordable than big brand names like Pelican, does the same job!

Fits 8” mid and a ds18 neo horn for diy speaker but have to put battery adapter outside on back if running anything bigger then the 3ah m18 battery, overall box is nice feels good and beats cutting, assembling, router edges, puddy, and then painting wood boxes which took me majority of the time for my other builds. $40 is worth the time and hassle and honestly looks nicer.

Box seems to be well made and the shell is nice and thick. When drilling through the floor or bottom of it about 2.5mm or 3/16in thick. Has a nice tight seal when fully closed and the latches seem strong and durable. I turned them into saddle boxes for my bike trailer to hold tools in one and spare parts in the other. The only dislike I have about the box i wish it had egg crate foam on the bottom like the lid had but other then that no complaints.

Box is perfect for my xl device. It fit perfectly.
