We went camping this past weekend and the first night we were there, it down poured for hours. It was a very hard down pour and I was nervous the tent would leak. But to my complete surprise we had no water in the tent. It was completely waterproof. It’s easy to set up, even if you are alone. Easy to take down alone. You can fit three full sized air mattresses with some room to move around in the tent to walk between the mattresses. We had raccoons try to break in through the zipper and it head up and they did not get in. It was a very eventful weekend with this tent and the quality of the tent stood up to the rain very very well. Only with there were a couple more windows on the back side of the tent, but if it keeps me dry, I’ll deal with a couple less windows!

The GoHimal 8-person tent is easy to set up with 2 people and easy to pack away. The height works well for us as one of us is 5'2" and the other is 6'1". It is not ideal for 8 people as you'd be sleeping elbow to elbow. 6 people would be a tight fit, but doable. It is most comfortable in space for 4 or fewer people. It is new to us this year and so it's only been used a few times. It is very stable, the zippers work well (we love the "windows"), but we have yet to test it in inclement weather.

We bought this for our first time camping. We were nervous about setting up a tent because we had never done it before. It was SO easy, especially after watching the video. It was also very spacious, we had 4 twin mattresses inside and a 100 pound dog, and there was plenty of room still- even standing room. Unfortunately it did rain on our camping trip, but the weatherproofing worked well. It is also easy to take apart and fold up into the cloth case. Definitely worth it, we will be using it a lot more!

The tent is very spacious and easy to set up, the zipper don’t stick like other tents I’ve used before, good ventilation, only thing I wish it had more of is lantern hook/loops, it doesn’t have a loop or a hook to hang a lantern in the middle so you need to use the side ones which is only 2 one on each side of the end window or you can use the divider loops on one end. Other than that it’s a solid tent.
