Balanced Body Padded Jumpboards

This optional equipment is a great add-on to the Allegro 2 Reformer. It is sturdy and easy to use (easier than the Peak jump board, since you only have to drop it into the slots and don't have to tighten anything). I have joint problems which would make doing any jumping (e.g., jumping jacks, jump rope, running) hard for me; using a jump board like this one means I can still get the movement without using my body weight. Also, Balanced Body has a ton of video clips on their YouTube channel, which gives you great ideas on how to use their equipment. I'm really glad I splurged and added this to my equipment.

I had ordered my Allegro 2 and the jump board separately. The jump board arrived first and gave me just a taste of what was to come. It is top quality for sure!

This the same machine I have been taking classes on for 5 yrs. This model has shorter legs so it sits lower to the floor. I love it. Worth the investment if you’re already sold on Reformer exercise.

This thing is heavy, durable, substantial, and high quality. Really awesome for serious leg workouts. Definitely a "must have" accessory!

This could be better packaged to protect the leather side of board. Otherwise great investment as a Pilates Instructor looking to add more variety workouts!

This is a solid piece of equipment and provides a great cardio workout with the Allegro 2. I have a much longer review on that under Balanced Body Allegro 2. I was surprised how substantial this accessory was when I unpacked it. That is in part because the back is solid rock maple. The inserts are aluminum and the front is comfortably padded for extended workouts. Nothing shabby here, its definitely worth the price, and the shipping is warranted given its weight and the solid way it is packed. No matter how much force you put on this, the reformer and jumpboard are solid, nothing moves (except you on the carriage of course). The handles on top make moving the board very easy. Definitely happy I got this.
