The best thing about these treats in a mug is that they come out of the microwave piping hot with the smell of delightful chocolate. I've ordered some other varieties so here are four suggestions on how best to enjoy two of the mixtures (both chocolate):First, don't use water. Use milk. Makes it much tastier. Then toss the frosting as that's where the real fat calories are. You really don't need it. If you must top it with something, try a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream drizzled with chocolate syrup (optional). Or drizzle chocolate syrup on top of the finished product (syrup is all sugar and no fat, or get sugar-free) and enjoy.Second, try mixing the cake mix with the equally awesome Hot Fudge Brownie mix (https://a.co/d/2RVgB9I). After mixing thoroughly with the cake mix (still dry), stir in a few tablespoons of mini chocolate chips (or your favorite) and stir. Then add the appropriate amount of milk for each packet (remember, don't use water) and mix thoroughly. Cook for 90 seconds in the microwave. The top of the cooked product should look moist but dry, not soggy. This will give you a cake-like brownie that's oohie, gooey and chewy.Third, try scooping out the final product from the mug into a bowl and top with your favorite ice cream. Mine is Vanilla Moose Tracks.Fourth, mix 'n' match! Cook two packets, one Hot Fudge Brownie and one Triple Chocolate Cake Mix, or both of the same kind, in separate mugs for 55 seconds each. Scoop out each and make a layered ice cream treat. Or use whatever mug treat suits your palette.Those are just a few variations you can use to make this little treat even more awesome. Just don't use the frosting as it's the biggest culprit for calories. That's why they don't separate the frosting from the dry ingredients in the nutritional label box.

It comes with the little ramekins you need to bake them in so you don't need to have that on hand already like you would for most boxed cake mixes. I'd never made lava cake before and this made the first time super easy - the kids helped and we all had a great time. You do need to be ready to eat these right after they are done so that the lava part works when you cut into them. I guess if they cool too much you can reheat them so the center turns back into a liquid but we didn't want to deal with that ; we made them right before dessert time and enjoyed them right away. Will definitely make Lava cake again.

The quality one would expect. Easy to use and taste great. Still my favorite little treat. Doesn’t produce a lot of cake but plenty enough for a treat once in a while

I discovered these Betty Crocker mug cakes a while ago and used to buy them at the grocery store. For some reason, they're difficult to find in stores now so I purchased them online. This product is so convenient. The individual serving size is perfect for when you want dessert or a treat but don't want to or have time to make a cake. It is quick and easy to prepare that even my pre-teens can make it on their own and customize it to their tastes, including add-ins and substitutions. One downside is that it comes in a pack of 6 and I realistically needed only 2-3 boxes. They are so tasty, however, that they all got eaten eventually!

Remember the days when people were selling toilet tissue for ridiculously high prices during the pandemic? That happened because they knew it was a shortage and in demand. So too is the case for the high price for these cake mixes. It you have ever had one, the taste is incredible. Easy to prepare and the flavor is a silky, fresh and sweet cake unlike anything you have ever tasted. It was expensive but worth it.

The Betty Crocker Cinnamon Toast Crunch Coffee Cake is quite tasty and really easy to make. It's not too sweet and not too crumbly. It makes for a nice treat with coffee and is a good value. I would purchase this mix again. It arrived fresh/in date and in really good condition; five stars from me.

Was my family’s favorite dessert. Everything thing came in the box , crushed pineapples, brown sugar mix and cake mix. Was easy to bake.

Tried this out for the first time and it was easy to make. The cake was good with a liquid (lava) interior. I did find the taste to be quite artificial, I would not be buying it again.

I have previously purchased this item, and it was fine. This time the icing was foul. I opened them all it they were all dark brown. Disgusting. No option for refund is despicable. Will never purchase again, ESPECIALLY at the price point.
