We bought this as we were going to be staying in a travel hotel for a few days and my partner gets a bit concerned that people could accidently walk in the room. This small easy to pack item took all those fears away. It compact enough to leave in your bag and sturdy enough to keep someone out, well worth the buy even for just peace of mind.

Easy to install and use and value for money . Good strength

I had little hope for this tiny lock. Let's just say, it took a body bash of a door from a 6 foot powerhouse of a teenager who thought the door was blocked and took not a single bit of damage. For reference, my partner and I use this little device to provide a bit of privacy from three siblings of hers, and to say the least, I never thought such a crude device would do the job so well.It's not pretty, but then again that's not it's purpose, it's designed to lock a door tight and that it does well, though it has to be a door that is swinging into your room you are locking. Ours took a tremendously hit like it was nothing at all and is still in full use regularly. I can't say whether any of these you buy will tolerate the same punishment but to say that the door sustained more damage than this tiny little device... I think it deserves praise.

It took a bit of fiddling to suss this out, and I don't think it would work on all doors. You'll need to make sure the gap that the latch goes into is big enough to have this slot into it.But if you can get it to fit with a bit of a wiggle like I did— this works great. It feels like it'd be fairly sturdy even if somebody was putting a fair amount of weight against the door.

4 star for the high price, otherwise product is a good one, small to carry. Locks the door well and keeps you less distracted when you are on meetings or want to have a nap while your wife thinks you are busy on calls 😜

Nothing was “wrong” with the product so I'm doing 3 stars but just want to make sure everyone knows that you can't do it on a door that has a doorframe (like mine). It needs to be flat against the wall. (From what I can see at least, it didn't go in because the doorframe was in the way.)
