I have DIY books that go back 50 years, from the days of B&W line illustrations. This series (I have Electrical too) covers tools, materials, planning and troubleshooting and uses illustration but more importantly a whole lot of very well done color photography. The knowledge in this book makes it possible for the budding or advanced DIYer to feel comfortable tackling a broad variety of plumbing work.

Just what he needed for a more difficult project
Husband is doing some plumbing work that will be more difficult than other things he's done. I bought this book for him, hoping it would help, and he was thrilled to find it has exactly what he needs for the current project, plus lots of other very useful information and photographs, diagrams, etc..

Seems to be legitimate.
Good read. I was able to complete several projects without cussing. This taught me I was doing things wrong from the beginning. Hence the curses.

Excellent photos and precise instructions on plumbing repairs . A good understanding of how fixtures work in plumbing.
