Good budget webcam
Very good for the money if you are looking for a budget camera this is it

Good for the price
Not bad for the price. It helps to download external webcam settings (to adjust brightness etc) if using a Mac but once that’s done it’s a decent webcam that is better than the standard built in ones

Not great...
Very disappointed with this. If there is any light in the background, the camera just can’t cope. The design means it slips on the screen too. Sound quality is good but it’s a heading for the bin!

Wide Angle Camera for Desktop
I purchased this to use with my desktop computer and monitor. It is easy to install and fits nicely on top of my monitor, giving a wide angle view of the whole room (computer located in the corner). The video quality is not great, however this may be due to my poor wifi. If you are on a budget and would prefer a wide angle lense, I would consider this as an option.

Superb camera
For some strange reason, most webcams are fisheye. This makes no sense whatsoever. This camera has been designed to present an undistorted picture, which is drastically better. It also handles white balance and sound very well. Overall, this is a great improvement on standard webcams.

Poor quality camera
The video quality on this camera is poor at best. It's overpriced for what it is when you can get a 1080p Logitech for the same price when demand is down.

Too many issues to be recommendable
This would be a recommendable webcam if it weren't for its accumulation of annoyances. First, though, let's look at its good points:- It plugs and plays just fine on my Windows 10 desktop computer.- The image it produces is, as claimed, undistorted, despite covering a wide angle. There's not a huge amount of detail and it certainly doesn't look like a Full HD TV picture, but that's acceptable for a webcam in this price range.- The sound from the built-in microphone is clear and free from static.- It comes with a stick-on cover for the lens, giving at least some reassurance against privacy breaches.- There is a screw mount for a tripod (although one is not included in the package).But:- The default colour, contrast and brightness settings are well out of true and there's not much in the way of auto compensation. In Skype, I had to use the webcam settings menu to correct the colour (it had a yellow cast) increase the brightness and the saturation to get an acceptable daylight picture. In artificial light, I had to change those settings again. I've attached a sample image.- The hinges aren't stiff enough, so that the camera won't hold its position when mounted on the top of my monitor. The weight of the cable pulls it down and it ends up pointing at the ceiling. I've had to mess about with sticky tape to fix that.- The supplied lens cover looks more like a third-party afterthought than an OEM component. Although it fits OK over the lens, it can't be closed completely as the lens protrudes too far from the body of the camera to allow that to happen.- You can't physically turn the microphone off.At the time of writing this webcam was mid-priced rather than bargain basement level. I feel that although it doesn't work too badly after some tuning, it doesn't really live up to the asking price. There are just too many glitches for that.
