Easy@Home 10 FSH Test Strips: Rapid Visual Result for Qualitative FSH Detection Menopause Test

The information leaflet said that FSH is highest first thing in the morning, but I tried a strip straight away. The strips are small but not fiddly and they work in a similar way to a pregnancy test. (Looks highly unlikely I'll ever need one of those again going on my result!). A control mark confirms the test is working, and a second mark, if the same darkness as the control mark, confirms presence of sufficient FSH to be considered in perimenopause. Plenty of symptoms made me believe I was already, but it is good to have it actually confirmed with these test strips. I'll now do a few more tests at different times of the day / month, and then consider a visit to my GP. All in all, quick, easy to use, and seem to work. The only downside for me is the text is quite small, so the instructions had me squinting. All relevant to being a woman of a certain age, of course… hence the purchase!

Good easy to uses for sure

Remember these are just testing levels and nothing else. Use it as a guide only. “The RCOG does not recommend using menopause self-test kits to detect menopause or perimenopause. These kits contain urine tests that measure levels of Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), but do not accurately indicate if a woman is in menopause or perimenopause”

FSH urine testing is not a fool proof way to diagnose menopause or premenopause but they do give you a starting point to have a discussion with your doctor about pursuing further lab tests. Each strip is individually sealed and there is a very informative insert in the package describing what the test does, why you may want to use it, what to expect and how to interpret your result. My result showed instantly-I didn't even have to wait the recommended 10 minutes. I like that the box contains 10 test strips so that I can test myself throughout the month at varying hormonal levels and track my own results before heading to the doctor for confirmation or premenopause.

Did my research on the best day(s) to do the test. Quick and easy to use. And as I expected between peri and menopause. Inexpensive.but conclusive.

Not reliable, tests were negative bloods confirmed I am in the change , personally wouldn't waste my time or money

Mit diesem Stick hat man schnell und einfach Klarheit, ob man sich bereits in den Wechseljahren befindet. Stäbchen bis zur Markierung in den Urin halten, warten, Ergebnis ablesen. Bei deutlicher Sicht von 2 Balken befindet man sich bereits in den Wechseljahren.

Teste zeigte leichten strich, was an sich noch „negativ“ ist. Bluttest ergab in diesem Sinn gleiches Ergebnis, sprich minimal erhöhter Wert. Somit hat der Test funktioniert.

Andando avanti con l'età, volevo capire se la menopausa fosse alle porte e accantonare così il desiderio di essere ancora mamma. Questo il mio risultato appena prima dell' arrivo del ciclo. Poi lo misurerò al terzo giorno e alla fine del ciclo. Aggiornerò con le foto e vediamo. La linea di test sembra un po' più chiara del test ma è comunque alta l'intensità. Aggiornamento: sono i test che ho effettuato al primo al terzo e al quinto giorno del ciclo. Al quinto giorno è positivo proprio. Direi che sono in premenopausa ed è confermato da altri indicatori chiari: test ovulazione sempre con linea molto scusa, assenza completa di muco fertile. Il mio ciclo è rimasto al momento ancora presente e regolare. Quindi per chi vuole avere delle conferme certamente un valido aiuto. Poi ovviamente bisognerà rivolgersi ad un medico per terapie qualora si fosse giovani ma con questi risultati. Io ho la mia età quindi accetto l'invecchiamento come fase naturale della vita. Spero sia utile a qualcuna.
