Absolutely the Best Dash Cam I’ve Owned – Clear 4K, Fast App, Great Features
I’ve been using the 70mai A810 4K Dash Cam (Front & Rear) for a while now, and it has exceeded all my expectations. As someone who has tried several dash cams over the years, this one stands out in every way. Video Quality – Outstanding 4K Clarity The front camera’s 4K resolution with the Sony STARVIS 2 sensor is incredibly sharp both day and night. Night vision performance is honestly one of the best I’ve seen. The HDR does a great job handling headlights and shadows. Rear Camera – Very Clear The rear footage is also crisp and reliable. Perfect for parking protection and rear-end incidents. Installation Setup was simple, the mount is sturdy, and the cable management is neat. Final Verdict If you want a premium, reliable 4K dash cam with real useful features, the 70mai A810 is absolutely worth it. The video quality, smart features, and overall performance make this one of the best dash cams on the market today.

Very good camera at a competitive price
I have tested a few dash-cams before settling with the 70mai 810 4K. This is a well built camera all around. It gets mounted very easily if you choose to use the cigarette lighter adapter and only use the front camera. If you choose to hardwire and add the rear camera it takes a little more effort but not very difficult to get it done by yourself. It took me less than hour running cables trough headliners and under the panels. the quality of the front camera is very good both day time and night time. The 4K resolution gets the frame rate reduced to the 25 fps but it does not make any significant impact. The rear camera though is not as good as you would expect since it supports HD resolution only. I wish it was supporting 1440p resolution on the rear camera. This camera has a nice ADAS features which probably taxing the processing power hence the reduced frame rate in 4K and low resolution in the rear cam. If your car does not have a ADAS features, it is nice to have such a feature but it may get annoying since the lack of native integration to your vehicle. for example, it will keep throwing lane departure warning even when you change lance intentionally because the camera does not know your blinker is on. the other weird thing with the ADAS is the warning messages does not make sense. only lane departure warning make sense. when the forward collision detection kicks in the voice warning announce it like "front threat car" which does not make any sense. It seems to poor translation from Chinese to English. I turned it off since my car has quite well ADAS system but for an older vehicle it may be useful to use. the app is very nice and unlike the other cameras the app is capable of doing firmware upgrades over wifi without any manual steps with an SD card which is a great convenience. other unique feature of the App is providing recorded videos in a timeline and marks the events with color codes. If you have a ring doorbell or camera you would know what I mean. This is the hands down best app to find and see recorded events, very intuitive. over all I really like the camera and how it performs so far. But there are a few things that needs improvement to my openion. - allow 30fps recording when the ADAS is turned off - improve the rear camera to support 1440p (quad HD) resolution - use standard interfaces all around. the rear camera connector is proprietary instead of usb-c as most of the vendor chose to use. - use standard signaling for the parking mode. the parking mode should be operating when it is used with a 3rd party or an existing hardwiring kit. just an important heads up if you are planning to hardwire or contemplating to keep using an existing hardwire kit with any 70mai cameras. the parking mode will not if it is not a 70mai hardwire kit which makes it difficult for many users. either you have to rerun a new hardwire kit for the parking mode and you need to fine without parking mode. in my case, I chose not to use the parking mode to be able to keep using the existing hardwire kit on my car. simply I didn't want to waste another hour to replace perfectly working kit with an exact same one just because 70mai chose signaling parking mode differently on their cameras. This is something you need to keep in mind

20+ Cameras Tried Over 10 Years, This Is The Best!
I've been using dash cameras in 4 different cars over the last 10 years. When picking out cameras in the past, I would read the reviews and would pick them out not only based on good reviews, but affordability as well. It wasn't until recently when I went to pull the footage off of one of my cameras, that I found it hadn't been recording even though it said it was! I decided to check my other vehicles and found that another camera, different brand and design, had been doing the same thing! In the past, I had considered camera features when choosing cameras, but had really only considered things like that it was recording in 4k, but most cameras with the fancier features seemed to be out of my price range. After having had these 2 cameras fail me in what mattered most, I decided that I was no longer going to leave something so important up to cheap cameras. I looked into more features and decided to raise my price limit, knowing that it would be worth it to pay more for a camera knowing that in doing so, it could save me thousands of dollars some day. About this camera: Materials - The camera itself is a solid unit. It doesn't feel cheaply made. It is a smaller unit so it doesn't take up a ton of space on the windshield, but it isn't so small that you can't see or read what is on the screen. Mounting - Mounting it to the window was a bit more complicated than the cheap cameras with rubber suction cups, but if you follow the directions and watch the videos, it isn't bad at all. Once it is installed, it doesn't move or vibrate, so it gives a much better quality picture. Picture - The picture is excellent! The wider angle is great to make sure you don't miss anything, and the picture is crisp and smooth. No choppy video and nothing blurry at all! Night Time - The night recording is also decent, picking up lots of detail my other cameras did not. Rear Camera - Having the rear view camera is an added level of protection that I only had on 1 of my previous dash cameras, and on my old camera it only worked for a couple of weeks before breaking. The rear view camera on this one records better than the forward facing cameras on all of my previous cameras. Connectivity - Once you set up an account, it makes it easy to manage multiple cameras between different vehicles, and it is then super easy to pull footage from the camera when you need it. No need to remove the SD card or plug in a cable; it's all wireless! Memory - This thing supports a huge memory card. My previous cameras were limited to mostly 32gb, one allowed up to 64gb, but this one will handle up to 256gb! Features - The GPS capability is cool, but honestly I don't know a lot about it. I do know that it has a strong connection in my area. Also, the G sensor definitely works to lock footage when it detects an abnormal event. I may have it too sensitive even as it sometimes locks footage when I hit a big bump in the road, but that can easily be adjusted. Overall, the only thing I could mark this down for is the price as it is over $100, but honestly that is a small expense if it gives you quality footage of an event that saves you tens of thousands of dollars where a cheap camera would have failed you. Even being as "expensive" as it is, for the features it has it is actually pretty affordable compared to similar cameras. It's worth it, you don't want the regret of going with a lesser camera.

Pleased with the camera so far
Seems like a great little dashcam. I bought it two months ago but only got around to installing recently since I wanted to do the hardware install and wasn't immediately up for pulling apart the car's interior. I've only installed the front camera so far, because similarly routing the cable for the rear camera to the window on my car's rear hatch will involve more contortions, and it's too hot here in central CA for that right now. Pros: 1) The image quality is great. Daylight is fine; haven't tried at night. 2) It's very simple to operate. The menus are intuitive. 3) The LCD screen is easy to see, even in bright sunlight. 4) Power consumption is nominal. When both camera are on they appear to draw about 600mA max. 5) I really like the Android app. Cons: 1) The electrostatic mount didn't work. After the camera fell off for the third time, I just stuck it to the windshield. 2) This is more for the UP03 hardwire kit, but instead would be a great option to incorporate into future cameras. The hardwire kit has a 11.8V cut-off to avoid draining the 12V battery. We have a Ford Mustang Mach-E with a 35aH 12V AGM battery. Letting the camera run in parking mode and draw the battery to 11.8V would kill the battery. I had to build my own cut-off circuit to raise the cut-off to around 12.5V. An adjustable cut-off is something that should be included in the camera itself.

Great Quality and Very Stable Performance
I’ve been using this dash cam for a while now and I’m really impressed with the overall quality. The video is clear in both day and night, and the device runs very smoothly without any issues. Installation was easy, the connection is stable, and the rear camera works just as well as the front. Definitely a reliable product and worth the purchase.

Good video quality, but very sensitive by default
The dash cam does its job well. Video quality is good, and it’s convenient that you can connect it to a phone to adjust the settings and view recordings. However, out of the box it’s extremely sensitive — it starts recording on almost every bump or small road unevenness. This can be adjusted in the settings, but it’s something to be aware of. Overall, a solid dash cam with good features, just needs some tweaking.
