The brains were a big hit.
We made these as directed and they were fun and easy to do. The brains are a bit more blue than purple and the chocolate frosting is a bit hard to pipe at first but once it gets warmed up it starts coming out easier. A bigger decorative tip would help with this. I'm not a big fan of frosting and didn't think this was all that great, but the kids loved them and that's all that matters. I'd make these again.

Horrible taste. Not what I was expecting. Cute idea but company needs to work on improving the texture & flavor of cupcake mix & icing

Doesn't include half the ingredients
Has about half the ingredients you need to make them, just went to waste, read before you buy.

The purple icing is pretty bad!!
The kit came with everything you need, and the directions are clear and easy to follow. The cake mix itself is tasty, and so is the chocolate icing. However, the "purple" icing, which is what they want you to use the most of, both as filling and as icing, is pretty gross... It's also blue instead of more pink/purple colored.Buy or make a different icing to replace it, and they will be really good!!
