The Ecco shoes are actually relatively wide. You can also remove the insole to give you more space. Also, note that the shoes are a bit bigger than normal. I typically wear a size 9.5, but the Ecco size 9 fits best and I have more than adequate space for my toes.

I must conclude that the arch support in the Biom Hybrid 4 is by design for the following reason. The fit of the several other ECCO golf shoes that I own is consistent with that of the Biom Hybrid 4. In all of them, even the previous model Biom Hybrid 3, they have, as you call it a “prominent” arch support. For me, the way my arch and heel are supported during my golf swing is crucial to making that “good” swing we are all pursuing. And of course, you know that each persons foot geometry is different - so “prominent” for one person may be not so significant for another. Hope this helps.

The most comfortable golf shoes ever

These shoes are so comfortable. They are also waterproof. so a win win. I know they are expensive but the quality is exceptional and I no longer come off the golf course with aching feet so money well spent
