The smell of the medallion is great. I do think it calms my anxious dog. My one 4 star review is for the fact that this medallion should have a feature it can be added to on clip collars. It will only work for a collar that you can slide through the opening. I have is zipped tied on the collar so that It sits the same manor as it would if it wasn’t a clip collar.

Unfortunately if you have a larger collar for a dog, this item does not fit and is not flexible to fit. Basically only for small collars (thin).

We could smell the whole trip but the dog still panted the whole trip.

I love this for our collie, Miracle. She is anxious most days and this helps calm her down. I would recommend this product

I got my 1st pkg of this @ my local PETSMART, and I just LOVE IT, my dogs HATE fireworks and thunderstorms, but with this on, it seems to take off the edge,not saying that they are totally CALM, but it does take off the EDGE. Last night here in WV we hard a bad thunderstorm, I put on the POSITIVE calming dog cd, that I also got from Amazon and that with the collars really did make a BIG DIFFERENCE with our girls.If you would like to get the CD, type in RELAXING CD for DOGS, the only thing I can remember about the name of the CD, is it says something about Though the dog ear.
