ThorntonsContinental Viennese Truffle Milk Chocolate Bag 107g

Bought for a gift for my daughter but its rediculously expensive on Amazon. Wish I had checked the Thorntons website before I bought it. There was a £4 difference in price.

Misadvertised product. For the price this was a tiny packet, and worse still it was 97g not 107g as advertised, covered by a sticker, see photo. The truffles felt like they had gone off, they did not have the crisp shell you expect from Thorntons and the inside also tasted off and felt a different consistency. Feel gutted as they are expensive to begin with.

These are lovely. I used to buy them in the early 1990s, and had no idea they were still available. Just as delicious as I remember them.

These chocolates are unfortunately really expensive compared to other chocolates on the market. But sadly I’m addicted to them. I just love the taste, and take my time eating each one, savouring the flavour. They really are my favourite chocolate, but are also extremely expensive. My family have tried so hard over the years to get me to switch to an alternative cheaper brand, but then they just sit there, gathering dust. The only way I can ‘dispose’ of them is to offer everyone a chocolate or more, if I can convince them that they’re not depriving me! Slowly they dwindle to nothing.I'd much prefer it if my family could finally get the message that these are the only chocolates in the world that I will ignore the saying ‘a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips’!

They were places in an envelope so they came smashed up and also melted together. They tasted nothing like the chocolate I used to call my favorite due to the melting . I should have checked reviews before buying as so many complaints.

Expensive but very very tasty. My favourite Thornton chocolate that is difficult to get hold of. Great quality, sealed bag, high quality chocolate

These are really overpriced but my Mum's favourite and only place I could find so had to put up with paying over the odds. However they were sent in a flat package, like the type used for CDs so not appropriate at all for soft centred chocolates which are easily damaged. Will just have to hope when they are opened at Christmas they survived journey!
