I had just about given-up trying to find a good solution to keep my laptop off my legs while couch-surfing the internet. All of the pivoting side-couch products under $100 seemed too janky. I saw this option and its potential to meet my need and considered it for a while. I eventually measured the specs against my environment where I need to use it and could not deny it may work well. Honestly, for the price, I was doubting the glowing reviews about the quality were legit, thinking, surely, all of these positive reviews were only planted seller hype. But, I'm an Amazon Prime member; meaning, returns are much less of a hassle. So, I gave it a try.Assembly and mounting took me all of 30 minutes. It came with everything needed other than my pair of hands. I mounted this bad-boy to a sturdy coffee table; and, wow, what a pair! This thing is as solid as they can come and sleek enough that it doesn't look embarrassingly like a home grown solution. Even my wife who, when she discovered what I was shopping for and had said, "No! That will look tacky," had to admit it does not look bad at all.It wasn't exactly what I was looking for. But, it definitely fit the bill for what I need. And, installation was so easy, I can quickly unmount this holder (in about two minutes) and install it anywhere else I might find another need to use it.Thanks, Mountup, for such a quality build at a great price!

Does what it's supposed to. And clears a lot of desktop space!

It's everything I wanted it to be, however, I wish there was a better way to attach your laptop in place other than the ribbon.

I liked that the mount can be used as a vesa mount or a laptop stand which is how I’m using it. It has good cable management and was easy to install. It’s super sturdy and hasn’t moved at all. I’d say this is a great value for the money and will perform very well for years to come!

I wanted to find a way to get my two laptops off my desk to free up space. However, I have a glass-top desk and was afraid of breaking the glass. After doing some research, I found these were the best options. I purchased two mounts, which were extremely easy to install and use. The quality is great, and so far, I have no complaints (I've been using them for a few weeks now).

Easy install (I did drill hole in desk) easy assembly. I did change the way the strap is shown (they show strap at bottom of laptop), I strapped just above the touchpad and just below the keyboard. Much more stable. Now my laptop screen is same level as other monitors (which are also on a double arm stand). Highly recommend !

Easy to assemble and adjust the perfect for my needs and better than others I have tried

Very sturdy, flexible and does what I needed it to do. Has a strap to keep laptop on just in case you bumpy the table or the mount. It does have cable management within the arm which is great.
