Warning do not buy!!
Purchased this optic mount for my wife's S&W shield EZ 9mm and it does not work. It does not fit in the dove tail at all. I should have listened to all of the bad reviews.It doesn't even remotely fit. I tried to file it down to get it to fit in the dove tail but I would have had to almost completely file the sides flat to get it to fit.Don't waste your time or money like I did.

Quality made for a9mm S&W Shield M&P
Great mount for my optics, remove the back attach this plate then attach your optics, ideal for Smith and Wesson Shield M&P 9 mm pistols

You can probably buy a better mount.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT IF YOU DONT HAVE THE PATIENCE. I just spent the past hour trying to file out the sides in order to "slide" it onto my EZ. I say "slide" because even having filed away at this thing like a prisoner trying to escape a maximum security prison, I had to hammer it the rest of the way through, to the point that my gun can probably shoot around corners now. I will update once I've zeroed my reflex sight if it's even possible now. Pray for me.Update: 10 shots in and my RMR started doing the cha-cha slide across the top of my gun. This mount is a no-go.

Quick and Easy Install
I received this mounting system plate and installed it tonight. This task only took a few minutes with the included Allen wrenches and the sight was likewise mounted. It was concerned at first as there was a lot of play between the plate and the sight, but upon tightening the mounting screws, it locked up nice and solid. The mounting plate is a bit thick, causing the sight to stand a little high (for my tastes), but it should still be useable.

Absolutely terrible how are you going to make a own slide saying it fits the ez model and it doesn’t fit lmfao about as good as a weight for when I go fishing doesn’t line up not even close seems like the person selling this has his measurements wrong when he’s cutting in his garage terrible wish I read before purchased Amazon should really pick up on this bull

Do not purchase
This is the second from them. I had the same problem with the first and thought maybe it was a bad product. So I had them replace it. Nope it just does not fit the weapon. Making items that don’t fit as designed is poor practice. Maybe a quality check.

Great Plate, Great Price
This is a very nice sight plate. The aluminum is thick and sturdy with nicely done threaded holes. Some of the cheaper plates are usually thin and the threads are bad. Install took about 10 minutes, including disassembly and included everything in the little bag it comes in. Highly recommended item.

Like all the reviews junk. didn't see it till already purchased for wife's ez 9 long story it doesn't fit I milled it to fit now I have to order a tap even the lock down screw is wrong what crap
