Rootana Meal Shake – Original – 100% Nutritionally Complete Meal with a Real Food Taste - Free from Unwanted Ingredients

I was pleasantly surprised with this - it tastes perfectly fine without having to add anything other than tap water (if you're happy with what tastes like a cold oat drink), no nasty artificial flavour, and seems to mix pretty well in a shaker (give it about a minute of vigorous shaking). Keeps me feeling satisfied for around 3-4 hours, and is therefore handy as a quick breakfast or lunch solution. It's great that it's totally plant based and nutritionally balanced as well. I now have this on subscription.

It has a nice oaty taste, but is quite bitty towards the end of the drink. I would have been unhappy paying £35 for this but it was heavily discounted to £19 so was worth it. Huel is cheaper and has more variety, so I will go back to that. If the price dropped again I would purchase some more.

I've tried other meal shakes and they always left an unpleasant after-taste so I was going to stop buying them which was a pity because as a vegan who eats too much junk food and carbs, and needs to lose weight, I wanted to be sure I was getting all the nutrition I need. The drinks solved the problem but the after-taste was awful. I've only just found out this is likely due to the artificial sweetners. I've just drunk my first cup of Rootana and have been left with a pleasant, slightly sweet, oaty taste so my sweet tooth has been satisfied and I've taken in all the vitamins and minerals I need. Hopefully it will also help me lose weight over time. I will definitely be buying more!

At last a meal replacement with no sweeteners! I have IBS and sweeteners notoriously trigger it. The ingredients quality is excellent and you can taste it. Easy to digest and yummy. It fills you for at last 4 hours.

used one pack already and best taste so far, but why price went up by £6 since i got it few weeks ago, rest everything 10/10.
