StihlGenuine 0000 890 5004 Stihl Chain Oil Filling System

My last one lived for 15 plus years...with regular use. So much better than the 10mins the oregon and husqvarna one s live for..

The oil spout on my Stihl fuel/oil can snapped, presumably knocked whilst moving something or other around. It’s not surprising it snapped off as the original is made from thin, cheapo plastic, not up to the standard of other Stihl products. Anyway, this part is a step up from the original, robust and no doubt able to take the knocks of every day use. Additional benefit of course is that it should automatically shut off when the oil reservoir is full, a feature many will buy it for. Me, I just wanted something sturdy.

And I didn’t know an oil version was available. But it saves mess and waste, automatically stops pouring once the tank is full. A brilliant but simple idea that works.JC

Already have the Petrol Filling sprout so wanted to add this to the otherside of the dual stihl petrol/oil container. Works perfectly on my Stihl MS250 chainsaw. Not only a cleaner way of filling that pesky compartment but also easier and quicker.

Pricey, but worth it to prevent spills and wastage. Might take a while to make the money back on reduced wastage.Actually wish I’d brought it sooner as it makes life so much easier

Second one of these I’ve owned they really work well but the cost is a bit high,however the time and mess they save is well worth it only thing to watch out for is excessive splashing when pressure has built up in the can especially in summer months it’s best to depress the spout while the can is upright this lets out a big hiss and the compressed vapor comes out safely..do this upside down (as intended use)and you would get a big blow back of petrol everywhere.

Stihl fuel filling system does the job , no fuel spillage as this has an internal stopper once fuel can is full . Highly recommended for no waste when filling strimmers etc.
