Art Eraser Faber Castell for Artists, Grey, Pack of 4

I use a kneadable rubber for charcoal work and this one remains soft an pliable and is easily shaped to lift off different sized areas, from tiny eye highlights to larger areas. I regularly start with an even mid-tone coating of charcoal and then draw into it with the rubber before adding darker charcoal shadows and details. Even when quite black with absorbed charcoal, these rubbers continue to work well, and this is the best of several makes I have tried. Also, the little plastic boxes come in handy afterwards for storing all sorts of small items!

I use these a lot when drawing. They work on a variety of papers but i normally use pastelmat and these are ideal. They are good to either rub out mistakes, lighten an area or clean around the edges. I do find i have this in my hand and will mould it into different shapes whilst i am thinking. Excellent delivery. They do last a long time.

Good erasers, very kneedable and warms quickly. Im a messy artist so this cleans up drawings well and they can get really mucky before they need to be binned. I like that bits can be pulled off, made into small shapes and really get in there to clean up. Rolled into a worm and it can be rolled over a drawing to lighten pencil lines so not visible after painting. Worth the money.

Great price for 4 maleable erasers. Do the job perfectly.

These are very soft and malleable which makes it easier to shape and I find it erases quite well. I still prefer my WHSmith putty rubber for its firmness (and better eraser performance) but the great thing about the Faber-Castell ones are that they come in a box to stop it sticking to everything and attracting dirt.
