I used this for my vacation and was very dependable. 1 word of advise set up early enough to get the right drip formation for each plant.

Set up the entire product by following the instructions. I’ve set up indoor irrigation systems before and this one’s set up is the same as others so it wasn’t difficult, but I did make sure to follow the instructions, knowing that it was a little different. The solar panel needed to “charge” before use, which was odd, and not something I’ve ever seen before (and I have multiple solar irrigation systems).Well I left it to charge for over 24 hours and checked it multiple times to see if it would turn on yet and it never did. It says on the back of the panel it should only take 3 hours to charge.Well over 24 and it’s still not turning on. So now I have an entire system set up that doesn’t even turn on or work. Great. A New, working, panel would be nice.

This really does pump. Sadly, the manufacturer doesn’t tell you what rate. You have to measure it yourself - hence the downgrade in stars. I measured a rate of pumping one gallon in about 45 seconds. Pretty good from a little pump.The individual drippers are easy to use, but again you have to measure yourself.There are only a few choices for water times - once a day, every 3 or 5, and no way to pick a start time. Start time is when you plug the pump into the solar cell/battery - the pumping starts within 10 minutes.

This is a very flexible system for automatically watering plants. The long tubing can be cut to match the layout and number of plants. Each watering spout can be adjusted from a slow drip to full stream, and there are multiple options for how often the pump turns on. The battery seems to last a long time. Very nice!

I love being surrounded by greenery! Buuuut I also cannot be counted on to remember to water plants every day. Or at all, really. Enter this automatic waterer! It waters all my plants for me every day, and all I have to do is full the reservoir when it gets low. And when I do feel like caring for my plants by hand, I can take the opportunity to fertilize them! My plants have never been so happy.It does have one quirk - it seems to move the watering time back over time. I have it set to water for 5 minutes twice a day, and it seems to start the 12 hour timer after it finishes watering. So if I set it to water at 6:00 am, it’ll water next at 6:05 pm, then 6:10 am, then 6:15 pm, etc. Today it’s worked out to watering at 8:45. I don’t mind when it waters as long as it does get done twice a day, but that’s all the warning I have for you. Enjoy!

Had to return the first device because it never turned on even after days of charging. The second device did turn on, but only for a few seconds at a time. Even thought the lights were on indicating a charge. Additionally the set up isn’t well thought out. You’re only offered one stopper, so you have to find a way to ensure there’s only one ending to your pipeline, which defeats the purpose of the four pronged connector, which should give you the option to manage multiple directions of plants. The box comes with no guidance on what plants should be at what setting, despite how it looks in the description. It also offers no advice on set up, eg how should you set it up so that only one stopper is needed? There’s no trouble shooting information, no recommendations on where to go if you have issues. I really liked this device because it was solar powered and had a pump with stickies that allowed you to ensure the pump sat on the bottom of the bucket. But give that two devices I a row have not worked, I’m giving up and getting a plug in device. Can’t recommend this product, unless the company acknowledges the issue and offers a fix

Although I have had this unit for only a few days, it has already greatly impressed me with its quality and functionality. The control unit, which is the back of the solar panel used to keep the battery (which powers the pump) charged indefinitely, is very easy to progam for watering frequencies from twice per day to once every 10 days. The tubing and drippers are made of a high-quality silicone. One cuts the tubing at the appropriate point and connects it to either end of a t-connector that links the main pipe to the drippers. The flow rate of the drippers can be easily adjusted by turning their drip heads. I liked this unit so much that I have already ordered a second one for use with other plants.
