Remote works great

Between dogs and grandchildren I have had to replace my Samsung remote a number of times. At first it was an expensive, almost $90, factory replacement but eventually that remote became obsolete and unavailable, at least from trusted providers. So I went to the secondary market on Amazon and tried various knock off versions, all very cheap. The versions requiring USB dongles were the worst, constructed poorly and intermittent at best. This version is closest to the original and does not require a usb dongle and it works like the original factory remote. It is however cheaply built and feels toy like in the hand. The instructions are a tiny printed and horribly translated joke that doesn’t even match what you see on the actual remote. My favorite end of sentence goes, “….to turn on the TV mountains.” The battery compartment, which you must open because it does not include batteries, is next to impossible to slide back on because it is moulded so cheaply. Infuriating to get it closed. But to be clear, this is the second time I have purchased this remote because it does seem to work and mimics the original, unlike the others you may see listed.

Product stopped working after only about 6 weeks, of course after the window to return it closed. Product is Garbage - Don't Buy

I thought I'd let everyone know this works with my Samsung and is a good, low cost replacement. It is Bluetooth and connects exactly the same as an original Samsung remote. I've been able to do everything with it exactly the the same as my original remote except: 'voice command' - I've never used this feature and don't intend to now, so it might work fine. And, so far, I have not got it to change the channel on my direct TV box which The original did. (This may be something I haven't done right since its been a long time since I set up the original.) Do not let the "no USB" thing fool you. Those USB adapter look-a-likes do not work with my TV anyway. If you need a Bluetooth remote, give this one a shot. The arrow keys feel a little different, but work great and its much better than buying an over priced, used one off the internet. Update: I've fount that when this remote isn't used for a while, it disconnects from the TV. Taking out the batteries and replacing them fixes the problem until the next time. Its annoying, but better than buying a used remote on ebay for well over $100.

It was a great price when purchased and it came fast and love it

This device works, but it looses it's mind every couple of days and will not turn the TV on. If you remove the batteries and replace them, good to go for another coule of days. Now really what I expected.

Not sure if it’s the remote or the tv but it only works if I take the battery out and put it back in.
