Great pump at a reasonable price.
This pump worked great transferring paint from a 5 gallon bucket to a paint tray. No spills or leaks. It made things much easier. This pump is well built and worth it's price.

Bails out my boat nicely
I got this pump for bailing out rainwater in my boat at the dock. So far this pump is doing exactly what I thought it would and works fine so far. I didn't even use the thread tape to try it out real quick, and it didn't leak at all. Could have emptied at least half a drum with the water I did remove. Easy to assemble and easy to use. Decent quality and I would say it's certainly worth the $20 to bail out the boat much easier without spending hundreds. Simply mounted to my dock post and run an extra hose into the boat.

Would not thread onto drum

Ok for some purposes
Does not even come close to fitting in a 55 gallon drum bung. Also the adjustable length bottom part of the intake pipe fits too tightly together so it pops apart and wont seal if you try to extend it all the way.If you can get it to fit your barrel/bucket and don't need the full length it does a pretty good job of moving liquid. Also the leverage is adjustable so you can pump more viscous fluids without requiring more effort.

It works quite well. Nice volume of water with each pump. Easy to assemble.

One Big Problem
The pump went together easy and works well. My big problem is bottom thread. Plastic water barrels have a buttress thread. The pump has a coarse thread. For correct fit need a extremely expensive adapter; costs almost as much as pump. Why would anyone make a water barrel pump that doesn't screw into a water barrel ? If it wasn't for that I'd give it 5 stars.
