This brush is amazing. I love that you can use the two sides, it’s like two brushes in one. It just works so well.I have two springer spaniels, one with a very long coat. I had previously brought a much more expensive version of this brush (£25) which worked fine but I’d mislaid it when we were having out house renovated. My female springer was starting to look like a yeti after a few months of not being brushed. I didn’t want to spent another £25 so I thought I’d go for the less expensive version. It’s equally as good if not better. I would recommend it to anyone with a dog.

This is a good product at a good price. Delivery was fast too. It worked well on my Pomeranian's long fur, it needs to be used gently and slowly. There's a wide-tooth side and a narrow tooth side, start with the wider side and work slowly if there are tangles in the fur, then use the narrow side to tidy up.

This is excellent for cutting through matted tangles. The shape of the teeth perfectly pulls through any large knots without doing damage to my spaniels. They don't cut the knot but really do help to penetrate through the tangles. With repeated use the tangle is gone and I can move on to the next bit. I love that there is a course and a fine side meaning that I can attack the bulk of the tangle with the wide comb and then go over it with the fine end. The dogs certainly don't mind as they adore the attention and feel so much better afterwards. With regular use I can keep an eye on those annoying bits under the ears and between the legs that just keep tangling.

I did not find the comb worked very well in my case. We have a golden retriever with very thick fur and the comb just seemed to struggle to get through her particularly thick fur.However, I suspect the comb would work well with normal dog fur.Btw, the company's after sales help assistant Claire was brilliant. Her follow up help with the problems I was having with our dog's thick fur was 1st class. A very good company to deal with. I would recommend the comb but if your pet's hair is really thick or badly matted, I think you should go to a professional groomer to clear the matting first.

Good product. Need practice to use it as can hurt fur baby if held at wrong angle. Very good once used to how to use it.

I bought this dematting comb for our mixed breed Wheaton cross I am so pleased with it as he does get quite a lot of mat out even though he is brushed and combed twice a week. I was surprised how easy it is to use and my dog seems to like it as he just lies down while I use it on him and it really works well getting lots of hair from him. I would definitely recommend it.

I tried to submit a review previously but it was blocked for allegedly failing to meet Amazon guidelines. I’m assuming that was because I attached a picture of my dog’s injury. As I said in my original review, the comb is easy to use and I was initially very impressed by how much shed hair it was able to get out and how easily it detangled my dog’s fur. What I was not at all impressed by was the comb’s ability to rip through my dog’s stomach. I didn’t not expect the comb to be sharp enough to do that so please be careful unless you want to spend £300 in emergency vet fees.
