Upgraded Lifetime Appliance WB15X10023 Door Handle Compatible with General Electric Microwave

After seeing all the more expensive prices for this part. i thought this one probably wont fit. But I purchased it anyways, as it is going into a rental home. To my surprise it fit perfectly. great product and even better price.

After replacement, it looks so nice and new.

First thing to do is to open YouTube and find the installation video as I did (search for your microwaves name and model). After that it's actually very simple. Just remember that youe working with plastic pieces do don't use to much force. Helpful hint: you may want to use a magnetized screwdriver tip. Just a recommendation.

This was a perfect replacement for my microwave's handle.

The handle fit perfectly. It was simple to install, but time consuming. There is a learning curve so next time it will take me half the time. Not the handle’s fault, it is the microwave design that makes it more involved. It has only been on for 1 week so I can’t rate its durability. My appliance tech told me to grasp the handle at the top when opening to avoid breakage in the future.

The handle of a spacesaver, over the range microwave broke after years of use. I found this replacement of excellent quality. Installation was complicated, not because of the handle itself, but because of the structure and parts that needed to be removed to install the handle: interior plastic frame, external plastic door frame (being careful not to drop the external glass that it's supported by this plastic frame.Installing the new handle without instructions took two tries: Even though the handle has two pieces, it should not be taken apart. Each end receives two screws: the top-most and bottom-most secure the external part of the handle to the plastic door frame; the other two, secure the inner part of the handle to the metal door frame.The handle is very sturdy and perfectly fits the space/holes in the plastic frame, and aligns with the holes in the metal door frame.All this to say that I'm very pleased with the purchase. It saved me from replacing the whole microwave, which works just fine, just because the handle broke.I wish they had in stock, and reasonably priced, the external plastic frame, so I would have had a "brand new" looking microwave.

Even thought I provided model number and make what arrived was to long, the holes didn’t line up, so I repaired the old one, remounted it and trashed the replacement, I am sure the right one would have worked since I had ordered it once before.

I searched for a replacement handle for my microwave at all the appliances stores and repair shops but couldn’t find anything within my budget. Then I decided to look on Amazon and my search was over. Not only did I find the correct solution but the cost was the best part of the deal. The cost was so incredible that I wish I would have replaced it years ago instead of just trying to get by with a broken handle.

This handle does not fit the microwave even though the model number is listed in the handle description of the product ,also there are no screws with the handle you will be required to pay twice as much for shipping charges to get this item, if you need to return the item be prepared to pay a shipping charge for returned merchandise , this is not a prime supplier.
