MasquepenSupernib + Empty Bottle

I have used the Masquepen Supernib in the past and I find the masking fluid to be good quality with little or no damage to watercolour paper so long it is not left on for longer than 3-4 days. The accuracy obtainable with the nib is very good. The supplier delivered within the estimated time and the product was well packaged. The only reason I have given this 4 stars instead of five is that the nib is very difficult to clean even though there is a fine wire plug. The fluid still gets compacted in the bottle top requiring lots of patience, a sharp needle and a pair of tweezers to clear it.

I already have one of these & wanted a spare fine nib! I have to say I use it on a masquepaint bottle which is much easier than the one it comes with!( after cutting off the plastic tube!) I use size & not masking fluid in it & I wouldn’t be without it for fine lines!!

sadly it broke on me trying to clean it soon after I got thats me too heavy handed perhaps stick to the old and trusted method

just what you want to do the job! Fine lines, window frames, grasses etc. Wouldn't do a watercolour painting without it. Easier that a brush or pen for very fine detail even for water ripples works great.

Once you have learnt to use it correctly it is very good indeed.

lets you make sharp white figurs - just lovely on the dark backgrounds, very easy to work with. You have to take time to clean the superb after use though !
