What percentage of deet does this product contain, thankyou, Nikki

Hi me again, I found these Product details on amazon, I couldn't believe kids sniff this, well the Deet is 25% abd can apply to kids over 2 yr old, here are the details. Contains N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide 25% (25g/100g). Extremely flammable. Irritating to eyes. Harmful to aquatic organism, may cause long-term adverse effects in the aquatic environment. Keep out of the reach of children. Keep away from sources of ignition - No smoking. Do not breathe spray. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Caution: Use only as directed. Pressurised Container. Protect from sunlight and do not expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Do not pierce or burn, even after use. Do not spray on a naked flame or any incandescent material. Do not use on severely sunburnt/blisterd/broken skin. Do not apply to the hands of children. Do not use on children under 2 years. Do not apply on or near synthetics (other than nylon), furniture, plastics, watch crystals, leather and painted/varnished surfaces including automobiles. In the event of irritation discontinue use. Is this okay to use on children aged 6

the prouct label says it is ok to use on children over 2. But not to put on there hands, that is because children tend to put their hands into their mouth or lick their fingers.

Does it repel other biting insects as well as mosquito's eg. tics etc

Hi Mr S. I buy Autan for my partner who reacts very badly to any kind of bite. We live on a private estate which is mostly a working farm, and right on the very shores of Loch Fyne in Scotland (in fact we're that close I could poke my fishing rod out of the bedroom window and fish!). The farm is mostly sheep farming and at the back of our garden is one of the many feilds used for the sheep to graze. You get the picture. My partner has tried many products and can't praise Autan enough. She doesn't get bitten by midges or ticks, even though at this time of year we are surrounded by them. Did I mention Klegs (horse flies) because we get them also. Don't know about Mossies but we're off to Corfu in a couple of days and Autan is bound to be in the suitcase.
