The media could not be loaded. I bought something similar before but it had just a few colors and japes but this one is smaller and has a lot more images, shapes, colors! Def recommend!

So this is far from 'pro quality' or anything like that, but will work for at home use, or for a wedding DJ or roller rink or something like that. There are several different light patterns as well as laser patterns and they are all preprogrammed inside of the lighting unit itself. Sadly there's no DMX control or anything like that. You can either run one of the presets or SORTA make your own with the remote control. Or set it to sound-setting and let the lights pattern to the music. The laser patterns are pretty rudimentary geometric shapes, nothing too outta-this world, but they're still cool and will set the vibe for like, 'fun' events that aren't expecting a pro-level light show. The remote is the brain of this unit, however the different settings are a bit hard to understand. I would take some time and familiarize yourself with what each button does... i even wrote them down until i could remember by heart. Brightness is pretty decent, in a lit room they're only so-so but the minute the lights go off the presets are easy-to-see and look even BETTER with a fog machine going or a haze in the air. It's a tiny unit with a solid metal housing and a mounting bracket... so it can be installed pretty much anywhere. The power cable runs on USB, so it can be powered from a wall, power strip, laptop or even a higher mWh power bank. I've used it for a few of my band's shows but it's a little too 'busy' for our group... so i use it for the holidays or stuff around the house.

This is an excellent little light show projector, if you plan on putting it in the corner of your house for Christmas. It can't really do anything other than the red, green, and blue colors. So it isn't really appropriate for seasons such as Fall/Halloween.There are two items that could be considered missing from the product. The stand has a hole so that the light can be attached to something, but it could have use a bolt or clip or at the very least a washer to help hold it to something. As it is, you have a completely unweighted bottom. So, it is very vulnerable to being knocked over (hence why I said it would be best in a corner). The second "missing" item is a charger. Instead of adding a traditional power cord or a cord and plug for the wall, you just get a usb cable. Your standard phone charger may not be able to handle the light and you probably won't want to have it plugged into something like your computer/laptop. I suppose the one benefit is that you could plug it into a rechargeable battery for remote operation.As far as operation went, it was very bright with nice energetic patterns. It responded okay to a few songs I tried playing out of my phone next to it. But, when I put on some club music it really went wild. That said, I don't know how well it would respond to traditional Christmas music. Though you can always just have it flashing and responding without the sound response feature.Overall I think the light is really nice. I just feel it is missing a few things that would make it perfect. However, I am very excited to give it a try indoors this Christmas.

When I used this in my master bedroom, I felt like I was in a nightclub. I would not recommend using this as a nightlight since there is a lot going on. The lights are bright enough to stick out in a room with my lamps on. With my center ceiling light, the laser lights will not be visible. The only complaint I had is how I could not tighten one of the screws for the stand on the side. I put my light on the table, so it is not an issue for me, but I am not sure if it will be if it was installed on a roof.
