No longer just the preserve of the environmental conscious and/ or financial frugal
I've been trying to reduce my overall waste and these bamboo sheets are a great way to do that. Use them as you would a regular cloth or kitchen tool to mop up spillages and food waste, but instead of discarding it once you've finished, just pop it in the laundry basket or washing machines, or if you've only used it to cleanwork surfaces, simply rinse it out and reuse or leave to dry.Personally I use my clothes to quickly wipe up those isolated kitchen spills on the floor prior to a mop or where you don't need to a use a mop. Aside from the obvious environmental benefits, I really like the asorbancy, strength and durability of these reusable towels have. You will experience some shrinkage following a machine wash, but it doesn't in anyway detract from the quality or application possiblities. So if you're looking for a practical way to decrease the amount of waste you generate, without breaking the bank, are receptive to making small changes/ substitutions to your shopping, without the need to make major changes to the way you live, then I encourage you to add these reusable, eco friendly kitchen towels to your shopping list.

Blimey, works wonders and eco friendly
Sheets are really nice and soft, absorb anything you throw at them and once your done just pop it in the washing machine. Incredibly environmentally friendly and work wonders. Can’t rate highly enough

Very good product
Been using these sheets now for two or three weeks and am very pleased with them. Haven't used very many yet, as they are so easy to wash and you can keep a rotating set of them just by chucking them in the washing whenever you have some to do. The material feels a bit like dressmaking interlining, more a fabric than a paper feel. The sheets are bigger than kitchen roll ones, but in the wash they shrink down to normal kitchen roll size. Very absorbent and mop up spills etc very well.Update June 2020I have now used up the whole roll, and have composted all of the used sheets once they had worn out. They do shrink a lot with repeated washes - I washed them at 60C but maybe 40 would have been fine. I am about to order a new roll which I expect will keep us going for another couple of years! Apart from all of the above, bamboo is produced in a much more eco-friendly way than is most cotton.

Not long lasting if you use them to absorb oil
It works perfectly at the beginning, but then after washing them twice they become hard because the oil doesn't leave completely, I tried washing them by hand with Fairy liquid but the oily ones were already ruined and some became kind of black. Eventually I had to bin them just after a few weeks. I guess it's a good option if you're not using them to absorb the oil from fried food as I did.

Wish we had bought a 2 pack
The product is exactly how it is described, i.e. it is strong, durable and absorbent. It has reduced our use of kitchen towels significantly and we are really pleased with quality - we tumble dried some by accident and they are still usable.

They look horrible after going to the washing machine but do what ...
They look horrible after going to the washing machine but do what they advertised. I started using it more as cleaning cloths and all purpose because they are sturdy and look the part.

Does the job. Shame about how it's packaged.
Great item but if like me you're buying to be more environmentally friendly seems a bit of a joke when it comes wrapped in plastic and sellotape. Also first sheet damages as sellotaped down!
