Crystal Allies Himalayan Pink Salt Lamp Basket with Cord & Bulb

I received this lamp as a birthday gift, off of my Amazon wishlist, from my Mom. I've always wanted one. They are so beautiful and I can tell you that they are DEFINITELY salt because I licked one and made my husband do it too LOLYou can tell that this company makes nice, quality products. You can adjust the brightness on the cord. Though, I like it at it's brightest, to be honest. I have had it on since I opened it and ,though it's only been a few days, I have heard so many good things about these lamps and I can't wait until I start feeling the benefits from it. For now, I love it's ambient orange glow. It's very comforting...I just wanted to add this.... About the packaging: The crystals and lamp itself could be a little more protected. Maybe with some bubble wrap? The salt crystals are sitting inside the lamp basket, just wrapped up in a plastic saran wrap to keep the rocks in place. This lamp is heavy and UPS never handles packages with care. My ex husband worked there. I know how they are lol but anyway... The crystals were sitting in the box, surrounded with just air bags but not all the way around..... Mine was not damaged. I just thought I would suggest a bit more protection for your other shipments.Overall, I am very pleased with this product. It is a nice addition to my home and I plan on buying more, for the rest of the rooms in my house, in the future!

I bought two of these mid January 2016 for the master bedroom. The lamps have worked great. The light bulbs don't seem to last long, I've put 4 sets of bulbs in them in just under 22 months. This week, November 15, 2017, the inline dimmer switch on both lamps fried. The first lamp the switch started running warm then started to smell, that electric is about to let the smoke out smell, that switch actually still works but I've unplugged it. Last night the switch on the second lamp failed. No smoke or extra heat from it, just stopped working. I find it odd that both failed within days of each other. So I will find replacement cords, switches and keep using the lamps.

Love it. I struggle with anxiety, so I've been wanting to purchase a salt lamp for awhile to see if it really helps with creating a more postive/ relaxing environment. I usually have problems falling asleep and even bigger problems waking up in the morning...However, the first night I had this in my bedroom I actually fell asleep faster and woke up more refreshed than I've been in weeks! I also like that I can control the brightness of the lamp, so it's not too bright as a night light when I'm going to sleep. Good vibes.

Just recieved this lamp I very much love it! My son has asthma so I have several through out my home, I truly was not convinced that they would be any help to him but was wanting to try them! Well I'm truly convinced now these Himalayan salt lamps are amazing he has not had a asthma attack in over a month and that's fabulous for him he has had a couple at school but none at home! Not only are they an amaxing beautiful decor in any home they are a beautiful air purifier!! Thank you this one is awesome!

I love the ambience it creates and that I can control brightness with the dimmer switch. I've had this lamp for 4 days - it's been on continuously and no problems so far. I was surprised when I opened the package that there was a lot of salt residue scattered all over the place that I should have expected since it's made of salt - duh. I realize that I will have to take the rocks out of the wire container one by one in order to change the light bulb - I don't know if any problems will occur. Have no idea what kind of bulb I will be required to use. I have an idea that it's a night light bulb which would be great since they are so cheap. Guess I'll find out when I cross that bridge. I don't know if it has any effect on house smells, but I cooked salmon patties last night and when I came in from shopping today, I didn't notice the fish smell that usually lingers for several days. That's a good thing.

This lamp was much bigger than I expected, with plenty of Himalayan salt rocks (I thought it would be mini-sized from the picture, but glad it's not). The light isn't too bright and I've fallen asleep many times with the light on, without feeling like my sleep was disrupted. Good quality design that adds a sense of zen and serenity to my bedroom. The salt rocks can be rearranged and moved if you prefer a bit more light shining through. Overall, a great purchase and I'll be buying another one soon.

Well, I guess we had a good run. The bulb went out a few nights ago so I ordered more, only to find out today that it’s not the bulb but the cord apparently shorted out. I had turned up the brightness a touch the night before, I always had itoretty dim. I guess even though you can turn it up you shouldn’t. I would fix it if I could but not sure how. VERY disappointed. I miss it already. Purchased Nov 2016 lasted November 2018. 2 years before cord for light died. Anywhere you can get just the cord?

that is right, I have two salt lamps in the master bed room. they simply are the best lights to have on when getting ready to climb into bed. I shut them off right when I am ready to fall asleep.........the wife likes to keeps hers on. I also, put them both on small power strips, so the power strip is off when not in use.

Product came quickly and well packaged ! - have had no issues with the light and the dimmer is a great feature!wish the light was came to the top of the vase so that the top rocks had light shining through them as well - but that is super minor . Over all product is very good .

I bought this as a Christmas gift... they lived it... stylish and fits most decor...highly recommend it for yourself or as a gift... great price and great product... would buy again

great purchase just note this is not high quality salt rocks so it doesnt have the purifying effects, but its calming and pretty when on. I like that the bulb is also protected.

The media could not be loaded.  The items arrived before expected time. I like them especially that they come with clear instructions and excellent packaging. They are so beautiful and relaxing for my bedroom.

Couldn’t be happier about this product. A little bit smaller than I expected but I am actually happy about that. Just beautiful !!! And I love that this lamp is on a dimmer switch !!!
