Motion Sensor Light Indoor, Night Light(3000K Warm Yellow 6 Pack)

I have purchased three sets of the Electight 8 LED Motion Sensor Lights that I have placed all through my house. I love them. I do not have to turn lights on in my house except the room I am spending time in. As I walk through the dark house, the lights just come on. They automatically shut off after 15-30 seconds of no movement. They are perfect and I have had no problems with charging. I don't know how long it takes because I have backups. So if one in an important area is getting a little dim, I plug it in and just move a brighter one to that location. I even put some outside our back door for when the dogs go out. They are so easy to use and charge and provide more than adequate lighting. I have even dropped one a couple times and it still works great - they are very sturdy.

-Sensor The motion sensor works well overall. When the switch is set to “Auto,” the light only turns on when motion is detected in the dark, which is exactly how I wanted it to work. I also think it helps save a bit of electricity. One thing to keep in mind is the sensor direction. It seems to detect motion best when you approach it from the front. If you install it on the side of your walking path, it may not turn on until you get very close to it. The description says the sensor angle is 120 degrees, but in real use it feels a bit narrower than expected. Because of this, I had to change the placement from where I originally planned to install it. -Brightness The brightness is perfect for my use. I bought the 3-pack and placed them in small spaces without windows or natural light, where I usually just go in and out quickly and turning the main light on and off every time feels unnecessary. It’s just right for lighting up a small area, and it’s convenient that I don’t have to fumble around in the dark trying to find the light switch just to have the light on for a moment. -Battery Battery life will depend on how often it’s used, but in my case each turns on at least 6 times a day. I usually only need to charge them about once a month, which I think is pretty good. There isn’t a specific indicator that tells you when they need charging, but the light becomes noticeably dimmer when the battery is low, so it’s easy to tell when it’s time to recharge. It would have been even more convenient if the charging cables were one multi-cable instead of three separate ones, but it’s not a big issue. -Magnetic mount I really like that these aren’t plug-in lights. Since they’re rechargeable, you can install them anywhere you need light, in places without an outlet. The magnetic mount holds very well, and the adhesive seems strong so far. It’s very convenient that you can simply detach the light to charge it and then snap it back into place. -Overall I’ve been using these for about 7 months now and haven’t had any issues yet. They’ve been very useful in my home. They are not fancy-looking lights, but they have a simple, minimal design that blends in easily wherever you place them without looking too noticeable or out of place. Considering the price and the convenience, they’re a great value.

These are great. They last a long time, are very bright and very sensitive to motion. I use them in the bathroom at night and they are a lifesaver. Light stays on for only seconds, so that helps keep the charge. They have a strong sticker/magnet for mounting too. Definitely recommend!

Horrible, tries to list themselves as a different light and has made me purchase from them twice when I want different lights these SUCK

I should’ve read reviews better. I was so excited for these to brighten up my apartment kitchen but the charge didn’t last more than a day even when on motion sensor. Adhesive stuck fine under my cabinets but not to the walls in my pantry, where I really needed them. No compliant about color or magnets but I don’t want to be charging daily.

I have ordered these in the past in a brighter color light. I was hopeful that these would be easier on the eyes in the dark. Yes they are. No glare with the warm glow. It still lights up the room. I place these in the hall and rooms in the house where we walk around at night. Very effective and quick response to movement. The light stays on long enough for getting around in the space it illuminates. I have used the brighter ones for years and they still work like new. I expect the same for these. One drawback. These do use batteries and the charge lasts less than the brighter ones do.

I had a borrowed one of these and several things surprised me. One is the battery life. I've had my first mounted for so long I'm not even sure yet just what the end point is, but I want to say it's been well over six months so far. Second was that any bit of ambient light will keep these from coming on and wasting the battery. A lot of motion sensor lights I've had come on when it's even just a bit dim. I only want mine to come on when it's really dark enough to be useful, especially if it's battery powered. 2 suggestions. One is to go for the 3000k version. My original borrowed unit was 5000k, and that's just too hard to look at when it snaps on. This 3000k is perfect. Second, these work best mounted down low. The one I have at the end of a hallway has about a 10 foot range when set on a counter, but that doubled to a good 20 feet mounted down on the baseboard. And like most motion sensor lights, they don't work terribly well when the motion sensor is not facing the user.

Bought several packs of these and the Homelist brand ones, which are the two most algorithmically popular on Amazon right now. 'Electight' (whoever that is) aren't legally allowed to go "hah our product is better than Homelist" but as a random Joe on the internet, I *am* allowed to do that, so I shall. Here's an honest comparison. Electight lights: - cheaper - £14 for a 6-pack (vs £25 for a 6-pack of Homelists) - weight is the same, leading me to suspect the batteries in these things are all the same (tiny and crappy, good for about a week of heavy use or 2 weeks of infrequent use) - magnetic pads on Electight are deeper and a bit stronger than on Homelist - 8 LEDs in these, vs 6 in the Homelist (and others) - brightness per LED seems the same - LEDs in these are a much warmer tone, the Homelist are quite cool even on their 'warm' setting (but these don't have a switchable warmth setting) - these have a permanent 'on' mode, which the Homelist don't - it's handy, you can carry one round and use it as a little torch, or stop it from switching off automatically if you're sat quite still next to it (e.g. in the bathroom) - these are a flatter profile and will stack neatly in a pile, where the Homelist are protuberant and will fall off each other. In every other respect they're about identical, there's really not much to these things and they all work fine, but I wanted to reflect my experience that these solved all the annoyances I was finding with the Homelist ones (which have now gone to charity shops).

These lights are great. They are very easy to install, and the yellow-tinted light isn't too harsh. I was worried they'd be too thick and bulky, and they're quite slim and unobtrusive. The magnet system makes them very easy to put up and remove, and the magnets are quite strong. I bought them to brighten up the inside of a deep larder I'm using as a shop display, and they work a treat. I'm buying another set to use when these need recharging and will just switch them out as needed. The motion detector works fine, but doesn't stay on long enough for me, so I'm just going to let them run down and switch out the lights.

They worked well but could not charge them. I’ve tried different cables and different chargers. The red light comes on and then goes off after a few seconds.
