What is the difference between this and regular Flonase?

Slightly different active ingredient. Original Flonase is fluticasone propionate while Flonase Sensimist is fluticasone furoate (used to be Veramyst when prescription only). Why does the Flonase Sensimist I purchased at my local store say 120 metered sprays and .54 fl oz. when this one say 120 metered sprays .31 fl oz?

I’m not sure what the difference is, they both appear to contain the same amount of the active ingredient, Gluccorticoid, 27.5 mcg per spray. I’m guessing that the reformulated it to have less total volume with the same amount of medication.

How long does it take for this to work?

From the manufacturer, “Most achieve relief within 12 hours of starting their FLONASE® product. But remember, it’s important to keep using it every day during allergy season as it takes three to four days before FLONASE® products build up to full effectiveness—which means once a day allergy symptom relief.”

Does this smell bad like regular flonase?

No, this does not smell. Although I cannot really smell the original Flonase formula and never knew it had a smell until my husband pointed it out. My husband says the green one (the og) smells and he hates the smell of it. He was so happy after I started using the Sensimist one, and he says it does not smell. Seriously, he said the smell of the original would linger and when he would go to kiss me it would gag him.
