Rob Zombie's Halloween 1 & 2 (Ultimate Edition)

It Does Not Mention the Region
When one spends 40 bucks for a set like this, I would expect it would mention in the description what region the release is in. It is a region B release. I found out the hard way when it arrived and I was not able to play it on my American player. So now I have the inconvenience of making a return and trying to find a copy of Halloween 2 that isn't outrageously priced. Ugh...

Too much!
I’m waiting for Zombies films to come in 4k. Both movies theatrical cuts are better than the extended directors versions. The original was a very good reimagining of the original with one of the most imposing Michael Myers. He’s huge and believable as a monster. Not sure what happened with Zombies 2nd take on Myers, but it was not worth the price of admission. With a $50 price tag these needed to be in 4k to even get close to justifying a purchase. It’s great to have both cuts of each film, but again I think more tinkering did not make them better. I have all this content already and still excited to get my hands on these in 4k, but for $50 this is an easy pass. Don’t make us wait much longer now that every other iteration of Halloween is out on 4k. Time for Shout or Akad to do a proper restoration. Not a scan, but a full blown restoration and then maybe a $50 price tag might be warranted and give us a look into that restoration. Now it’s time for James Wan to take on the franchise and put his imprint on this classic.

Too expensive for these 2 movies.
The first film was great, the second film...not so much. The psychedelic stuff kind of ruined it. These films are pretty cheap to get so releasing them as a 2 movie, 4 disc set for $50 is way too optimistic of a price; despite including R theatrical and unrated versions of both films. It don't matter. Price shouldn't be more than $25 for the 2 movie set, and that's being generous!!! I wouldn't expect to sell many of these.
