Unscented basic soap
There is absolutely nothing good worth mentioning about this soap. It’s thin, has no smell, and dries out your hands after use. DO NOT recommend.

Fresh scent
I say fresh, but it’s actually almost void of scent. Love the clean ingredients. Will buy again. Great cleaning power even for this gardener.

why different from the one I buy from PUBLIC GOODS?
This is my favorite soap, so decided to order from amazon instead of directly from Public Goods.Hmmm. The scent in the one from amazon is non existent, and it is thinner with less lather.No seal on the package and came with leakage, so wondering if it was watered down?Strange. Will only buy direct from Public goods from now on.

Scent
I purchased the Public Goods Hand Soap because I had used it at an Airbnb I stayed at when I was on vacation and l really liked the scent. I actually looked forward to washing my hands because of the way it made them smell. However, the scent of the soap I received is not close to the scent that I remember. Either they have changed the scent since then or the one at the Airbnb was a different soap but they reused an empty Public Goods bottle.Here is my experience with this product so far. I received the soap and the bottle was a little dirty. Not bad and a Magic Eraser cleaned it up in no time. The look and the feel of the bottle is really nice even though it's made of plastic. Had a little bit of a hard time getting the top to pop up to dispense the soap but it finally did. Not sure how I did it but it took a little while. The thing I like least is the scent. It's not very strong, it doesn't last, and it really doesn't smell great. It reminds me of the smell of an off brand laundry detergent. But scent is subjective and other reviewers liked it so don't let my review stop you from purchasing it.

Solid Hand Soap
Works great, nice fresh smell, simple design, clean ingredients, recycled plastic for the bottle...What's not to like?
