UPDATE 17/04/2019 (for the original review please see below)The company which sells these mats has contacted me via amazon offering a refund or partial refund for my bad review. I said yes of course I can amend the review saying that though the mat is rubbish the company customer service is great. Well IT IS NOT, the mat is rubbish and service is rubbish. After another few weeks I have received an e-mail from them saying that they have refunded the money to me and I should change my review. Well I have not received any money and yes I allowed enough time for the monies to show in my account if they actually did refunded, but they did not.ORiGINAL REVIEWAvoid this thing!I had it for just under two weeks and its all falling apart. Every time you walk on it a bit of some sort of fur comes off. When hoovering it tons of fur comes off it. I had to pull the matt a little bit and the rubber from one side got ripped when only 6 pairs of shoes were on the mat.For this price I was expecting a better quality.I buy items for full advertised price, I don't get them for free. I write reviews based on my experience.

This product has just arrived after several weeks wait. I opened package to see pile coming of the mat this is before its laid. Also noted that it appears cracked on the side. I am awaiting return. I would not recommend this product.

We bought this dirt trapper mat for the kitchen (150x90cm). We have a white tiled floor which can get very dirty especially as we have a large German Shepherd. It's served 2 purposes, firstly it collects the dirt up as you walk in very well resulting in a much cleaner floor service, secondly it has become a second bed for the dog, he fits on it perfectly and it stops him sliding on the tiles when he gets up. Very thick pile which seems to be why it's so good and the dog feels comfortable on it.

A good sized mat, doesn't move around on the vinyl covered floor in my utility room and is easy to vacuum, keeping it looking clean. If I have one negative point it's that although the mat has been laid for almost two weeks it is still shedding fibres. I have a Dyson cordless and its cylinder is full of these fibres every time I go over the mat, which is at least once a day, this doesn't seem to have affected the appearance of the mat so I live in hopes that the shedding will eventually end., Watch this space for further news. Edit. Now near the end of February, rug is still shedding fibres every time I vacuum it, however no difference in look of the mat. Goodness knows how long this will continue, I must admit I'd be reluctant to buy this brand again.

This mat traps the dirt and having a rubber back there is not a layer of dust underneath when I lift it up and it vacuums well. I bought a large size so will have to use a hosepipe to clean it but I see no problem with that in the summer!It is on ceramic tiles, I can push it about a bit with my foot but it does not seem to move on its own.It is thin so the door opens over it easily.The seller was excellent over my queries

As mentioned in other reviews, the product is much darker than expected for beige but i'm not that bothered as it will show dirt less. The outer rubber edge/border was torn in 2 places when it arrived. I cut off the border as I have a cat that rips them with her teeth anyway (I've another similar mat in kitchen which I had to cut off the border) so that didn't bother me but I've knocked off a star as it would probably disappoint other buyers. I've got it in my hallway and it seems to be doing the job; I just use it to stand on to take off my shoes. It doesn't seem to be shedding and hoovers easily. Have just order a smaller size to put in the front room doorway to hopefully prevent the cats from doing a sideways slide as they tank round the corner and up the stairs.

Waste of money. Doesn't trap dirt or moisture from my dogs feet or my shoes. Ordered beige mottled colour but it's more like black with white flecks, the brown is either actually black or the nearest possible shade to black. My 15 year old original Turtle mat works better than this. Wish I had sent it back now as incorrect colour but I hoped it would at least trap dirt.... it doesn't.

Did not know what to expect but when it arrived we were very happy. It is well made and of excellent quality. It does the trick and I would highly recommend this to any one. The size we bought was 120 X 90 and it's great. Very happy indeed as it covers our conservatory double doors.
