Forno Bonomi Savoiardi Lady Fingers, 500g

Let me start off by saying buying biscuits online is a gamble but there are no ladies fingers anywhere in my surrounding supermarkets and I was badly craving a good slice of home made Tiramisu.I'm happy to say that all of my fears were for nothing as you can see, the biscuits came without being crushed wrapped in bubble wrap and that other paper thingamajigs that keep it nicely secured and cushioned. When I opened the biscuits themselves, it had 5 packets inside them which is indeed very handy because I only used 2 of those packets to make tiramisu in an 8x8 dish. I can store the rest away no problem without having to worry about them getting ruined. I was sceptical of having to pay £6 something for a packet of ladies fingers that would probably be not as good and would reach me crushed and crumpled but I was wrong! I'd say its totally worth it! Also, I should mention that the package came without delay :)P. S for anyone wondering, one of these is enough to make approximately two tiramisu cakes if you use your usual 8 inch square baking dish. You will have 1 packet of biscuits left over, in which case its totally worth buying more :)

I was delighted to discover, after a search, this particular gluten-free product, as I want to make a trifle using lady fingers as well as serve them with mousse. The goods arrived promptly & well-packaged. Taste good too! Very pleased.

Perfect for making tiramisu - which is what I needed them for - and they work just fine. I can't say is they are any better or tastier than alternate brands and I've never bought lady fingers before.

Great Italian biscuits, very good for desserts like tiramisù. The price is a bit on the higher side, but cheaper versions are not comparable with their genuine Italian taste
