Anyone know the width of the rear vertical bars from end to end and the actual bar width??? Thanks

Vertical bars 11.5 from outside to outsideBar width end to end is 19.25In open locked position, as amp sits inside stand, from bottom of amp up to the cross bar is 11 inches.

Will this work with a fender gtx 100?

Not sure. Just make sure the amp has a back on it. Does not work with my Super Reverb because the back is open.

It seems like the mid profile stand tips over easily. The low profile stand looks more stable but is it?

I use my stand to support an 8-space audio rack containing recording gear. It seems quite stable, even when I tip it to get access the connectors in back of the equipment.
