To help for those having trouble opening, I got this case today, removed my worn out Otterbox and put this on my 8. On this new one, you have to pry/stretch out the exterior flexible outer casing at one of the ends and work it off around the black case. It seems solid but it will pry loose. I used a small flathead watch screwdriver to begin and then got my fingernails to work the rest off. The interior case has marked tabs on the back to open to get your iPhone in. The included instructions are not clear about removing the outer layer. So far, I am very satisfied with it. It comes with a protective touch screen so you may have to push harder or remove it if you have an existing protective screen and find it annoying. No big deal. I sent a few texts today and it was fine for me. It is a good buy. I recommend.

Strong enough to stand up to my 6 year old! Screen coverage and the stand are a huge bonus. Highly recommended.

Beautiful case the phone fits in it you should totally get it

PROS: The case is hardy and definitely up for protecting your phone. Love the added piece that allows you to prop up your phone on a flat surface while using. CONS: 1) trying to separate the outer case so I could place the phone in it as it's actually 2 different protections. 2) the top of the case has it's own screen protector glued to the inside and because I installed my own glass tempered protector, my "touch" wasn't recognized easily and I had to repeatedly tap on the screen. Needless to say, I removed their clear covering (plastic) by cutting it out. Overall, it's a great case but not for a senior as my hands ache when trying to remove my phone to make changes and it's hard to hold for small to medium sized hands. If you've not used your hands, for years, to do anything then maybe you won't experience this and we're being picky.

Great phone case, fits iPhone 7 perfectly. Comes in cute colors, has a double protective layer, a clip for portability, and adds a good grip to the phone. For the people saying the case is glued together or broke upon trying to open it; you have to gently lift the edge of the silicone outer case from the plastic inner part to pull it apart and it opens easily. It took a second to figure out.

You get what you pay for. If you are in the market for a knock-off Otterbox case, then you found your case. It is cheaply made. The worst part of the case is the screen protector. Out of the box it was not glued in to the case. The plastic so cheap it scratches using only your finger from normal use. I have had this case for one week and it looks worse than the case I had for two years. I do love the color. But once we get past the color, the case is not so great.

This is just like an Otterbox Defender. Much less expensive than what the Otterbox company charges for shipping its free replacement skin alone under its free replacement program. Those reviewers who did not like the way the inside shell snaps together have not used a Otterbox Defender case, because those are the same. The skin alone fits perfectly on an Otterbox Defender inner shell, so if you want to keep the color of your genuine case interior shell you can just replace the outer rubber skin. This product includes 3 things, the rubber outer skin, the 2-part hard inner shell that has a clear film covering the screen but still allows touch interaction with the screen, and the black beltclip shell. The only difference is that the genuine inner shell has a thin rubber dot over where the large button is on the front to cover the iPhone main button, but that does not matter because that dot wears out and falls off after a few weeks on the genuine case. My case was for an iPhone SE (2020 model-2nd gen) (I think is the same as the 7 and 8 and maybe the SE 3rd gen). If you are just looking for a rubber outer skin to replace a worn one from a genuine Otterbox Defender, just make sure the round window on the back of the case is in the same place as in the image for the color you are buying (some have it centered, some have it near the camera, and some don't have a window). Note: this or a genuine Otterbox defender will keep your phone in new condition for years, the extra bulkiness is just a feature of the case. You can also do wireless charging with this or a genuine Otterbox Defender (the case has no metal to block the charging energy), but wireless charging pads suck and most people give up on them (no matter what case they use or if they don't use a case and use cords for charging), especially charging pads built into cars from the factory/dealer where the motion of the car will move your phone enough to stop the charging feature. (Plus wireless charging heats up your phone, possibly reducing its life, while using a cord does not heat up your phone.) I have many times dropped my phone with this and genuine Defender cases from my hand onto concrete or tile floors with no damage to the phone or the case..

Fast shipping. Like the rubber putter shell. Not a fan of the plastic over the home button. Ripped after a month of having it.

Screen cover makes rainbow patterns so screen diffucult to view under certain light/angle. iPhone buttons are hard to push. This ”new” case arrived without original packaging so it’s an open box! Will return the probably already returned product...

plastic screen cover is sticky and can't work phone through it so had to rip it off, and after a few times of charging the silicone is now out of shape.
