After using this mat over a month now, I really like it. It’s very heavy so I’m still getting used to that. Personally I like it better for hot Pilates, hot barre & hot HIIT classes but I do use it for yoga as well with an towel…although a prefer a lighter mat for yoga. It’s easy to clean & doesn’t smell after a lot of sweat.

This yoga mat is THE G.O.A.T.! I have been searching for a mat that would prevent me from slipping and sliding when doing planks and this mat is the REAL DEAL! Even when I’m well into my routine and dripping with sweat, this mat does not fail! I cannot recommend it highly enough. Even the price is competitive. You don’t need to spend $100+ or more on a yoga mat when this one is on the market. Very well made. The only caveat I would say is that it is quite heavy for such a thin mat. Not a big deal if you don’t plan to take this mat on the go, but I really wouldn’t advise that given its weight.

The DiMonde Natural PU rubber yoga is a nice yoga mat with a smooth, rubberized, non-traditional but good gripping surface, that is well made, a good thickness, and really does a good job.On opening, the mat had an extremely acrid, chemical smell. I was more than a little worried but, after about 24 hours for degassing, the mat has virtually no odor whatsoever. My mat was a light green gray color on the top and a black, PU rubber backing. The mat anchors well to hardwood floors or carpet and does not slip.The mat has a flat rubberized surface rather than a texturized surface like many yoga mats. The mat feels different on your feet and hands but works just as well as a conventional yoga mat. I was concerned that the smooth surface might make it more slippery due to sweat, but the grip stayed sure. I'm still more used to the pebbled like texture of the 'traditional' PU yoga mats, but this works just fine I do like the extra 5 mm of padding: this is not equivalent to a plyo mat but does give you extra cushioning and makes the mat more comfortable.The construction seems robust and I imagine this will hold up well over time. As a nice bonus, the mat comes with nylon webbing that can secure the mat and act like a handle.All-in-all, this is a great yoga mat and a good alternative to more traditional mats. Recommended.

I wasn't sure at first if it would fit my need, upon receiving it, and started using it, I know this is it!!! This is the yoga mat that I've been searching for a long time!!! It's a bit on the heavy side, but it works perfectly, no more sliding while working out, easy to clean/maintain as well. Highly recommend!!

It is no slip but because the color is so light every drop of sweat is shown doesn’t dry or absorb quickly at all. I’ve been using it to hot yoga and once you start sweating your body sticks to it you see every imprint left. Do not recommend at all. Also has a very strong odor. Definitely not the greatest quality especially for the money paid.

Stays put on wood floors. Perfect for home use, probably a little heavy for travel

So I practice yoga almost every day. I REALLY like this mat for many reasons, and it pained me to return it. Here's what I love: GRIP: I've tried plenty that *say* they're grippy, but this is super grippy. MATERIALS: I love these materials. In addition to it being natural rubber and eco-friendly, it feels well-made and durable. Even kinda smells nice! COMFORT: Feels nicely cushioned, padded and comfortable. My ONE BIG issue, and unfortunately this was a total deal-breaker- COLOR: This lightly-colored material shows EVERYTHING- every mildly sweaty palm print, every drop of oil from the pores on your forehead, e.g. during child's pose. If ONLY it was available in darker, less pastel-ly colors, I might have kept it. An extra long option would also be super handy. I'm a 6' male, and there really needs to be more than a 72" L option- perhaps a 79" like Manduka makes. Finally, I'm a big fan of subtlety, so ideally, the logo would be MUCH smaller or somehow less intrusive. Perhaps some mat markings instead? Like I said, I'm sad to have returned it, but with a couple updates (darker; longer; more subtle logo), I'd buy this again and evangelize it all day!

I bought this mat specifically for hot yoga. It’s 100% rubber and I’ve used the Manduka and know the material is made out of rubber only.Honestly, this is the dupe!!!I’d highly recommend this mat. People at my studio have already asked me the name and brand because I am not slipping during downward dog :)
