We had an ironing board but it was so clumsy and took up a lot of space so we got rid of it. I didn't want to buy another board, so I got this. It worked perfectly and takes up a very small space on the shelf. The only downside I'd say is that when I was using steam, sometimes underneath the mat would get pretty damp with condensation. Make sure you dry up after ironing to prevent damage to your table.

This mat is more convenient to use than a standard ironing board. Doesn't take up much storage space and I feel like I am saving a lot of time ironing my clothes. I will say that if you steam iron, the underside of the mat gets damp so be careful if you use it on a wooden surface.

I received the item on time. It was well packaged. I read and followed the instructions booklet and did exactly what it says in it. I have used it only once to iron small pieces of clothing so I was able to fold the iron mat in two. I Plugged it according to instructions. It warmed up fast enough, although, I did not use the max temperature and I also used the dry-mode (no water) to iron. It worked perfectly fine. So far, it is what I need and have had no trouble whatsoever. It came in a zipped bag which is good but it could have been much better if the bag would have been a little bit wider. I give it only four stars because I own it for only a few days therefore I don’t know if the iron mat will last long enough and stay as well as it looks now. I willl keep you updated.

Wonderful well made product large size - lays flat would buy again!

This Medium sized ironing mat is just what I was seeking. It is good quality, as thick as I expected. I live in a small space & the only items I generally iron are pillow cases, kitchen towels, napkins … small items. The heat from my hot iron did not transfer through to my surface, but I placed a towel under just in case. Easy to roll up for storage.

The ironing mat fits perfectly on my table, which is 60”x80”. I pressed a quilt top and was easily able to avoid the few inches of exposed wood. The mat arrives folded, with lots of wrinkles. Just ironing the quilt got rid of all of that and didn’t cause creases on the quilt. The price was reasonable and it arrived very quickly.

I do not have room to store a full-size ironing board. This is a perfect solution.I use it on my kitchen counter and am not concerned about burning the counter top at all.Even at the highest setting, the heat does NOT penetrate the mat. (I rarely use the steam.)After ironing out the initial packing wrinkles, I store it rolled-up instead of folded.

This ironing mat works fine for my counter top ironing for sewing. An improvement that could be made by the manufacturer is to roll the mat for shipping rather than fold it and put it in a bag. The mat arrived with 6 massive creases that I had to spend 30 minutes to iron out of the mat before I could begin my own fabric ironing. Otherwise a good product for the price. Didn't need the silicon iron pad. No review for that item.
