Great Summer (or Anytime) Read
From a parent’s perspective: I did not read the book. Why, you might wonder, am I writing a review? Today was the best day of my summer. I didn’t hear, “I’m bored.” “May I watch electronics?” or “Mom...” 10,000 times. What I saw was a 9 year old totally engrossed in a book. He is a good reader, but didn’t know all the words. (I love that it challenged him.) He could figure out most of them by the context. He was able to finish the book in one day. I heard laughter. He couldn’t put the book down. The only interruptions I got from him all day long were to tell me funny things happening in the book. From a 9 year old's perspective (in his words): What’s not to love about the book? The story contains kids, spy gadgets, and villains. It is sort of like a comic, but way better. Sadly, it ends on a cliffhanger, so I have to wait for the next book to be published. All in all, I loved it. Buy this book!

Great chapter book for kids
I bought this for my 10 year old grandson (who hasn't read it yet) but had to read it first. It's a great chapter book for the kids. If you are one of those parents who read to your child before bed, this will keep you interested as well. There are some parts that only we adults will 'get' and smile over. It is full of very descriptive text and an easy read. I don't want to give anything away - as secret agents don't either - but it is a good book and worth the read. I think my grandson will enjoy it and look forward to more Spamly adventures.

It had a lot of good humor. It had a very good plot point
The book was very well written. It had a lot of good humor. It had a very good plot point. I even laughed out loud at a couple of jokes. A younger child may want to keep a dictionary beside him. There were some big words that he will learn. As in most good spy stories, the end leaves you hanging just enough that you can't wait to read the next book. I recommend the book to any kid who enjoys a spy story. A book filled will humor. A search for a lost pig. - RJS

More Spamply! More Spamly!
Every kid, girl or boy, imagines being a spy at some point in their upbringing. A Royale Mystery accentuates these fancy’s and builds upon them. Spamly Worthington takes you on an adventure that is exciting, intriguing, and literally laugh out-loud funny. This book is a great beginning and sets the stage for a fantastical spy world. My family is very much looking forward to the books to come. Give it to your kid and don’t be surprised to find them nose deep until they finish it.
