Does the job, and the price is good, but the metal is soft, which takes 'dings' easily, and uneven, which makes the lap vibrate.update: the "soft" metal is probably a design decision, and the unevenness eventually gets worked out when you've spent some time and gotten the lap "broken-in". I'm giving back the star, they're decent topper laps, and quite good for the price!

Great for the price

Although these polishing disks are larger than they appeared in the item description, they are made with precision and have a fine enough grit to tame scuffs and scratches on stained glass and window glass edges, marble, and cut tile edges. They fit an older collet that I was using for a microfiber buffer so I can use them with my cordless drill easily. The construction allows residue to be brushed or rinsed off the diamond surface, so they will stay useful for years. Very nice product!

These do just what I need them to. I use them on a flat lap polishing rocks. They work wonderful and are great quality for the price.

These work great for agates and Jasper.
