I’m so glad that this was my first read by Brynne Weaver, I couldn’t asked for a better book… it honestly had it all :Phenomenal storyline ☑️Ruthle$$/Brut@l unaliving of scumbags ☑️Witty banter between the Main characters ☑️Funny LOL moments ☑️the spiciest of sm*tty spice ☑️☑️I could honestly go on I really enjoyed the heck out of this book and will be buying the physical copy for my book trophy collection for sure!!Sloane and Rowan were incredible individuals characters but together they made magic and yeah sure they are two well known 🥣 unalivers but they only unalive the real 🥣 unalivers that go after innocent people… so really it’s just poetic justice if you ask me… 🤷🏽‍♀️ just sayingOhhh and the details that Brynne Weaver put into those spicy scenes…. EPICALLY H.O.T!! Good lawd Rowan was exuding d@ddy vibes hundred and one percent 🙌🏽🤤 the things that man did to Sloane.. whoa 😮‍💨 simply amazing!! I mean like he even had her on top of a restaurant table.. goood lawd!! Just know the Spicy was definitely Spicin in this one!!Then there was the SWOON.. yes people swoon.. she placed a camera in kitchen just so that she could see him cause she missed him.. like come on if that’s not swoony idk what is… and then he paid someone to deliver food to her door just so she would call him so that he could walk her through how to cook everything..ugh just know the swoon factor was there in their one st@lkerish darkishly way 🤭Ugh I’m serious obse$$ed with how good this book was I could talk about it for hours… Highly recommend checking it out-Happy Reading Bookworms

The relationship that develops between them is so sweet and so special. I literally squealed and kicked my feet more than once! 5⭐️ Butcher & Blackbird need to stop it. Like for reals I can’t deal with these two! They are soooo freaking cute! Gahhhh! Legit cannot deal with this cuteness overload!Okay so this book was so great! The plot was something I’ve never experienced before and it hooked me straight away. I loved it. The pacing was perfection and I loved how it played out and was never rushed.The banter between these two was next level and the rom com elements really balanced out the graphic moments.I literally could not put it down.

I've never thought these 3 words together before. Dark romantic comedy.But Brynne Weaver has expertly interwoven the dark gritty vibes of a spectacular dark romance with all the raunchy irreverent moments from a romantic comedy.Rowan Kane, you sexy psycho, you. Sloane never stood a chance with your pretty boy guy-man ways.And Sloane, forever isolated by her need to be vengeance finally found her soul mate in a man who could love her for every bit of her.For a dark romance about two competitive serial killers, Butcher & Blackbird was super romantic in all the ultra possessive hero ways.

Oh yea and happy self care Sunday. Finishing this book was my self care today lol.I enjoyed every second of this book. EVERY SECOND. Not a SINGLE this was wrong with this book.Two rival serial killers meet under random but bloody circumstances and form a weird but adorable friendship lol. So naturally, the begin a tradition of meeting up one a year in a murder competition of HUNTING AND KILLER OTHER SERIAL KILLERS.A moment of silence for how amazing that sounds please….Okay but seriously, if you are like me and love romcoms and dark romance, this is their love child. Read it lol.There were (what I think) were some nods to Norman Bates, Hannibal Lecter and Texas Chainsaw Massacre in here that’s I ADORED. Some of the greats.When I’ve first heard about this book, I was so excited! But now that I know we’re getting two more books in this series about each of the brothers … I’m going to be ecstatically impatient until they are released.Sloane and Rowan will live in my heart always now and hands down will be a top read of the year
