Great quality and adaptable to any situation
I love the Loke battle mats. I have several sets and the quality is exceptional. My players and I enjoy the colours and detail.

Ahhhh
I recently decided to try DMing since my regular DM was unable to play and I’m addicted so I bought this to make things easier for me. The layouts are great and if nothing works you can always use dry erase markers to make any of them your own kind of battle map.

Loke - Now this is a brand that is worth every penny!
I love THIS book of battlemats! Now, Loke has done a massive amount of battlemats, and every one of them has been a godsend and a GREAT value for the money, but I have to say that this is one of my favorites so far, of the books that have been themed. There are 60 pages here, which equals 30 double page spreads, at a 1" square (aka the D&D 5e industry standard for maps). All of the maps are extremely detailed, while still leaving you with plenty of space to add in anything you might want to add. The paper is thick and waterproof, and you can use wet or dry erase on them for extra customizability (although I prefer the dry erase, personally, as it's the easiest to remove, even after you've forgotten to clean it in the last two weeks... eep!)Do you need an easy map for a collection of shops when your PCs just want to go shopping for wares in a new town? Here you go, pp 37-38. Do you need a seedy gambling den for a one shot? Check out pp 43-44. Need a quick map for a wonky museum heist? Try pp 23-24. Want to do a theatre-based episode? Maybe the backstage area of the map on pp 17-18 will tickle your fancy. Wait. You want EVEN more variety to spruce up your inevitable one-shot sessions? How about a haunted attic map (pp 29-30), a couple of massive warehouse map (pp 9-10 and pp 13-14), and even a magical academy map (pp 7-8)! Trust me, my friend, you will find plenty of ways to utilize and reutilize and re-reutilize each and every one of these wonderful maps! There are a plethora of awesome battle mats from Loke, and you cannot possibly go wrong with ANY of them. I personally want to get all of them, and am working on that right now! If you want to gift your DM with a cool book of unique and interesting maps that they absolutely WILL find many, many uses for, then this book is a FABULOUS choice! (Hint, hint to my players! Ask me about which Loke battlemats/collections that I don't have yet... keep in mind that there aren't many I haven't already treated myself to, btw... and I will give you an idea for my birthday, the holidays, or even for DM Appreciation Day!)

Pretty
I generally prefer the giant or double books from Loke, or occasionally the little books, but I really liked the look of some of these and couldn't resist. This is a lovely set of maps.
