Stands out at the bottom of the stairs so descenders can identify the stairs.
Guests and members of the family have fallen on the bottom stair. The stair carpet is similar in colour as the lino in the hall.

Seems to do what it says
As mentioned in other reviews, the product is much darker than expected for beige but i'm not that bothered as it will show dirt less. The outer rubber edge/border was torn in 2 places when it arrived. I cut off the border as I have a cat that rips them with her teeth anyway (I've another similar mat in kitchen which I had to cut off the border) so that didn't bother me but I've knocked off a star as it would probably disappoint other buyers. I've got it in my hallway and it seems to be doing the job; I just use it to stand on to take off my shoes. It doesn't seem to be shedding and hoovers easily. Have just order a smaller size to put in the front room doorway to hopefully prevent the cats from doing a sideways slide as they tank round the corner and up the stairs.

Good sized mat
A good sized mat, doesn't move around on the vinyl covered floor in my utility room and is easy to vacuum, keeping it looking clean. If I have one negative point it's that although the mat has been laid for almost two weeks it is still shedding fibres. I have a Dyson cordless and its cylinder is full of these fibres every time I go over the mat, which is at least once a day, this doesn't seem to have affected the appearance of the mat so I live in hopes that the shedding will eventually end., Watch this space for further news. Edit. Now near the end of February, rug is still shedding fibres every time I vacuum it, however no difference in look of the mat. Goodness knows how long this will continue, I must admit I'd be reluctant to buy this brand again.

They are as described
I am delighted with this purchase. They aren’t as heavy or firm as the ones they replaced, but they do just as well. My one ‘beef’ is that they come so tightly rolled up that it takes a while for them to flatten out on the floor. A trip hazard if not dealt with. I hung them over the banisters for a while but still one edge had to be parcel taped down to begin with.

Hard Wearing Rug
We have just decorated so needed a new door mat to replace the one we had down. The length is a little shorter than I had before width was the same as before. Not really had it down long enough to know about absorbency or easy clean. So far I’m happy with it and looks good. Price was quite expensive to my last one but hopefully will last a few years like my last one. I need it to be hard wearing as I’m a wheelchair user and to remove wet and dirt before going into my hall carpet. First impressions it will be up to the job.

Slides on a carpet
I bought the rug because we had a new carpet fitted. Unfortunately, the rug can cross the room faster than me as it slides so easily on the new carpet, which is quite deep pile. I would love a suggestion on how to secure it although I won't be holding my breath. I only placed the rug yesterday so have no opinion yet on the quality. HELP!
