Decent Solution With Some Tweaks
I am currently using my second of these soap holders. I followed instructions with the first one, but the suction released and the shelf broke at a weld when it hit the shower floor. I cleaned my shower walls (again) and followed instructions again with the second shelf and the suction just wouldn’t work sufficiently. Fortunately, the shelf didn’t break when it fell this time. I used a different hook that doesn’t rely on suction and have not had any other issues. So I think the biggest issue is the suction holder, but that is a big component of the shelf. I do like the way my disc shaped shampoo and conditioner bars fit securely on the shelf. And it works great with the alternate hanging device.

Works great
I don’t understand the negative reviews. A 4th grader could look at this for 10 seconds and figure it out. You unscrew the suction cup, put some water on it, stick it where you want, tighten the suction cup again (to create suction) leaving just enough room for the top of the caddy to fit in, then tighten again to secure. Easy peasy and works great and is secure. I hung mine lower in my shower because I take more baths than showers. Kitsch sells the exact same product with a branded suction cup for $50 which is crazy. Don’t be fooled— get this one!

Nice product
I purchased for display of my soaps, shampoo and conditioner bars. They are very nice and appear sturdy. They are very nice options over a name brand company that is asking over double the price of this one. Thank you for the option

Hanging mechanism is faulty
The overall stand is cute but not worth the $20 I paid for the item. The suction cup hanger came with no directions but was simple enough to suction on a wall regardless- but, the suction cup did not stick at all and completely fell alongside my bars of soap I placed onto the holder. I am disappointed and wouldn’t recommend at all.

Suction Cup Hanger
Loved the soap holder itself, but the "suction cup" to hang it does not work. I should have read reviews before purchasing because this seems to be a frequent problem.

Don't buy if you expect to hang it
Yep, this soap holder holds 4 bars of soap; but you better want it to stand on a shelf because the "suction cup" does not work. It neither suctions correctly nor can it hold the weight of the empty rack.

Simple and sturdy, great to organize dish/cleaning sponges while traveling
I ordered this because the extended stay we're currently in due to my partner working on the road has a distinct lack of counter space near the sink, which has to serve for handwashing, dishes, and a mop/cleaning sink. I was tired of the way that the dish soap plus 2-3 sponges and 2 brushes plus hand soap made it look cluttered, and thought this might be a workable solution that will travel with us easily. So many of the other options were either too big to stand in the space available, took up valuable sink space by mounting on the inside of the basin, or needed to be wall mounted (which is obviously a bad idea in a hotel-type place); this one is fairly small, but is large enough to hold a couple of dedicated cleaning sponges, a vegetable brush, the dishwashing sponge, and still leave room for a bar of hand soap--and at that point, I can live with the dish soap dispenser and bottle brush standing up next to this. I like that it's capable of being freestanding or can be hung on a smooth surface; with the nature of my partner's traveling industrial construction work requiring us to pack up and move to a new site for each project (which can happen as often as every few weeks or as infrequently as every couple of years, depending on the project), that versatility is critical since every new place ends up having just slightly different setup needs.Installation was very easy, requiring only that I put the rack down on its feet at the back edge of the sink. I chose to install it with the suction cup hanger since there's a mirror behind the sink instead of a backsplash, because I'm a klutz and my partner can be more of a bull in a china shop, knocking lightweight things over very easily. That required a few seconds of fiddling to get the right placement for the suction cup so that the knob tightens down over the upper curve of the rack, but it was still only a minute or so to install it.Overall, this is a nice basic-looking little rack that can go with many different decor styles from rustic to modern, and works to keep small things well-organized. It meets all my expectations and is actually somewhat sturdier than I expected, though that doesn't really matter since I'm not looking to put anything heavy on it. It should travel well for years to come, making my life easier for the duration.

Suction cup
Like the style and color, but the suction does not work on my tile or glass in the shower, had to buy something to stick to he wall so I could hang it
