Solid, work well
Solid. Easy to install. Work really well. Expected to last a long time

Edit
Easy to thread onto other pipe without any leakage. But the valve itself leaks badly. I used it at the end of a fire hose hookup with a cap on it so the leak was stopped by the cap. So not really a problem for my setup but would not work for a situation where you would need to depend on the valve for complete shut off of water. I think the valve I received was possibly just a rare defective valve but like I said, it worked for my situation.Edit: I'm now giving this valve 5 stars. I removed the handle and rotated the valve several times. There must have been something caught up in the valve. I did not flush the line to clear any debris that may have been in the line as suggested in installation instructions. My fault for being in a hurry. The valve works perfectly!

well made and well priced.
i needed a valve i could leave in place for a drain rather than removing a cap that gets lost frequently. i got 2 of these. they are solid and work great.

Shorter, less threads, leaky fight, not worth it!
Let's just sum up!I had a valave that worked, no leaks, made of brass with a rusted off handle.I replaced with this valve, which is shorter, and has less thread depth. Let the fight begin!I had to install and remove this valve 4 times, using a ridiculous amount of teflon tape and strongarm force while tightening.Look, anybody that has done plumbing gets a feel for "tight enough". Too tight and you snap threads on the flat area of the female threaded part. The amount of force that I had to apply to the valve(just one side kept leaking) was on the edge of holy crap and bloody knuckles.I would not buy this brand again. It was not worth the hassle. For reference, I worked at a water department for over 20 years, and plumbed countless parts. There are 3 stainless valves in my plumbing going to my own house. The other two were installed at an earlier point. Only this valve gave me grief. You can see an old brass valve compared to the stainless valve.

Very stiff, I would not recommend for a woman or child
The valve is very stiff and hard to turn. If my wife had to shut it off she would have a very hard time doing so. I tried to heat it up with a torch and its still very very hard to close off completely.

Great fit
Worked well to replace our old pool fill valve. Was a good fit and good value for price paid.

Good for my smoker too
This fit perfectly on my Old Country Brazos offset smoker. I just hang a little tin bucket underneath, and pull the handle to drain.
