Poked the egg with this little gadget and after the egg was boiled the shell peeled right off! Easy peasy.

I eat a lot of eggs....(I mean a lot of eggs). I even went on a 12-24 egg diet 20 plus years ago before the keto diet became all the rage to lose weight and yes it worked and my blood didn't turn into butter. So, I don't know how I never came across this wonderful little magical device.It is so easy and basic to use that I really doubted it would have any usefulness at all. I mean you just push the egg down and the needle pops up and puts a tiny little hole into the egg without letting out any of the yolk or liquid. I did break the first egg pushing it down a bit too hard, but after that, you just gently push it down and it works every time.You boil eggs and then like I normally would have issues with peeling eggs are poof, like magic, gone! I peel the eggs with no more frustrating waste of egg whites that sometimes peel off when you peel fresher eggs. I can't count how many times I've been pissed off having to peel the shell and pulling egg whites off with it and tossing it into the trash leaving behind a pocketed, hole-ridden egg.Game changer egg lover device!9/10 I would recommend it. The pin came loose and stayed in the egg!

The design is simple and it seems like a good invention. However, somehow the one I received is defective. It's tilted to one side and then locked. I tried to fix it by pressing or turning, but the pricker in the center limits me a bit. I don't want to be overly punitive with my rating as it does seem to work well for others, but ultimately I won't be able to give a fair review. Sadly, these items are inexpensive plastic and that comes with risk.
